Lineker's line to Rooney at half-time was the highlight for me. Richards was asking Rooney what he would be telling his players if they were 1-0 up at half-time and Lineker says they never are.

Well done Palace, third time lucky in the FA Cup final. Deserved, good team, great fans. Deserved.

And that's the difference isn't it, their fans unashamedly moved to tears for winning that, fans of all ages. City would have forgotten about it by September.

The Premier League Cup doesn't count now??

No. Not the first team which is who we all follow. Won't count on the honours board.

Yea no need for that.

I'm fed up with Pep. Coaches any individuality out of players, moody sod and he has made football boring. Don't get me wrong some of his Man City teams were great to watch but it's just pass pass pass pass now. Chance to cross it into the box. Nope. Cut back and pass it backwards

Oh what we could have done this last decade with the sort of competent leadership and management Palace have had...

Good for them, and pleased for Eze. But sad to know that QPR's best days were long before I was born!

And £1.5m for QPR as Palace win a cup and make Europe.
The gift that keeps on giving.

Ok, how do we know this?

The scary thing is we might not even be at the end of the tunnel yet with our 27-year-old social media expert holding the reins and no manager. Still, at least we've got the Eze money to waste...

Chris Richards looks like he's auditioning for the role of Phil Lynott in a Thin Lizzy Biopic after the match. Great look.

Great scenes for the Palace players and fans

Absolutely chuffed for Eze and Palace. Proper club, great fans, and entirely deserved on the day. Beating pep, city and all they’ve come to represent just makes it sweeter.

Delighted for Eze, chuffed for Palace, bemused with the BBC for trying Rooney as an “eloquent expert” again.

That's it then. Not glad all over. My one bragging right with Palace mates gone. I was always able to remind them as they look down on us from the Premiership that we had won a major trophy and they hadn't. Now all of that has gone and it will be they won a bigger cup than us and City a better team to beat than West Brom so their achievemen is greater. This is a disaster for my personal life. Was bad enough hearing Oxford and Luton fans giving me stick for them lifting the League cup in the 80's when I used to work so now Palace fans can lord it over us. This is s grim day.

Good grief, how old are you? No one over 30 should be giving a fraction of a fck about any of that.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

Extended sour grapes from Pep

He was acting like a prat with the stop watch but he didn't do much wrong at the end, Henderson was having a pop at him and he bite back

Pleased for Palace but also very jealous of them

VAR was dreadful again, got both calls wrong saying Mitchell didn't touch the ball when he clearly did they just didn't watch all the angles. Rooney was right just get rid of it

Anyway at least we always rest people in this cup to make sure our team of world beaters are fresh for league games a week later, wouldn't want to experience anything like this

I wonder if Eze will stay now, won a trophy and European football next season. I'm not sure Spurs is a step up for him now

This Is what Henderson said to Guardiola;

**Speaking to ITV Sport, he said: "I just went to shake his hand but obviously I think he was disappointed with the time wasting. I said 'you got the 10 minutes that you wanted'. No hard feelings**

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

Probably have to spend another billion quid now. Absolute walloper.

No league
No cup

In relative terms that would be Pep tin tacked normally.

His system looked tired

Was thinking this too. Palace will have a bigger budget now, need a bigger squad and will want to give it a real go after seeing what poor Spurs and Man UTD teams have been able to do.

Shame but I reckon this win makes a sale less likely.

Or, and this is wishful thinking, Man City sign him based on that performance at an inflated price.

That’s the ideal isn’t it.

Nah mate - they've finally caught up with us, is what I'll be saying to my Palace mate. All the other stuff is too far apart to try to compare. 1 - 1 in cups is all.

Anyone who can trigger the release clause can talk to Palace about him. They have to tell him that conversation had happened and what they would let him go for. He decides then if he wants to go or stay.

I think he's a Spurs fan but I'd fùck them well off. He's good enough to play for any club in Europe. But we knew that when he was pulling Preston's pants down and making them look like they'd never played the game before.

Saw it a couple of times and it looked like Henderson accidentally bumped Pep and he had a bit of a snap at him.

Henderson then puts his hands up to apologise - don't think it was a pop at all.

Ridiculous over complicated reason to not issue a red but otherwise great and would have made his dad proud.

Gabriel Clarke was absolutely dreadful after the game as well. Pursuing Ebs around like an emaciated grey-haired ghoul until Eze basically told to him fùck off so he could enjoy winning something with his mates.
