I know it states being signed for the academy but this boy has already played a significant number of games at senior level albeit in Scotland. If he's got the physical attributes to cope with senior football then hopefully he's going to get a look or some time with the seniors at least otherwise it would be a massive step backwards to play U21/U23 football only and potentially stifle his development? If not good enough for first team currently then get him out on loan!

No disrespect to Scottish football but the standard of Montrose and Elgin is comparable to that of the Cymru Premier, as has been seen in Scottish Challenge Cup which two Welsh clubs played in up until last season.
Under 23's is probably a better standard or like you say a loan move to League 1 or 2.

I think that looking to sign all these older players will cause Wrexham problems in the second half of the season. The intensity of the championship and the amount of games back to back will take its toll.
