Why would Modric not join Swansea is the question I am asking. He has invested a few million and he wants the club to do well. He wanted to play another season at RM but it is not to be.
If he wants to be hands on and have a voice then it makes sense for him to play for Swansea for modest wages. Ramsey went to Cardiff. Modric could be tempted to return to Croatia perhaps.

He would be a non executive director in other words a director without a job. He would be a player under Ben Cabango.

3 crosses is 3-4 miles further and would take possibly twice as long. Oxwich is closer but only about 1.5 miles and would still take 20 mins.
