Keep Robinson and Sulemana 18:07 - May 25 with 1065 viewsBridders2

Sulemana should be kept, he adds a cutting edge that can hopefully be honed by a good coach, and if some of our front players can keep up he'll have more passing options.
Likewise Robinson he looks a real asset.

Perhaps Sulemana can learn how to finish and the team can learn how to support him.

Perhaps he can learn to pass forward rather than backwards

Suleman did well today and created some really good runs, causing Arsenal defence a number of issues. The only problem was when he did create the space and break away, there was nobody there to help, and he had to play it back.

Let's hope we can keep Charlie Taylor. He looks like he's our best defender.

Sulemana has about one good game in fifteen.

Get rid. Only reason he played well today is he’s hoping to attract some interest

Why would anyone want to keep Sulemana ?

He played well in a friendly against Liverpool 2 years ago scoring twice in the 4 all draw, hoping it would be enough to get a move . Then spent the whole of that summer trying to leave but no one was fooled by him so we had to keep him.

Didn’t do anything in the championship last time , sulking half the time thinking he was too good for us. Again no mugs came in for him .

Played well at Manchester United away and then had a good game yesterday’s friendly. One thing I noticed how unfit he looked after each run yesterday he needed a couple of minutes to get his breath back . At one point when downes was looking to pass to him he put his had up to say he didn’t want it.

About 3 games in 3 seasons for a reported £20 million .

I agree that Sulemana had a good game, but as has been said, we have seen the odd glimpse before, also there was again no real end product.

Charlie Taylor had a great game, posing the question why 3 managers have not deigned to use him much this season.

He looked to have the experience we have lacked all season at the back.

It is a strange one that Taylor has barely featured this season.
The assumption was if 3 separate managers playing 3 different styles didn't rate him then he clearly wasn't good enough.
When in fact after yesterday he looked as least as good as THB, Bednarek and Stephens.
As a caveat to this , it has to be said it was basically a competitive friendly and Arsenal fielded a weakened side.

Really pleased for Ross Stewart and we're now seeing a player with potential to do well for us next season.

That tells you something about the managers we've had this season.
None of them had any idea of what was required to play in the Premier Lge.
Charlie Taylor is a proven player at that level unlike most of our squad.
What surprised me yesterday was that Charlie Taylor managed to play 90mins without getting cramp & that's after having not played for 6months or more.
That's the sign of a good pro, he's obviously worked hard on keeping his fitness.
He should be a shoe in for next season.
