Greta Thunberg aid ship to Gaza has apparently been intercepted by Israel, I would imagine after 9 people were killed previously on a Turkish aid ship attempting to deliver aid and the outcry that followed that the same fate won't happened to these aid volunteers. Apparently Israel is going to show them footage of the Oct 7th attack from nearly 2 years ago as some kind of justification for starving women and children out there and make them think they should not be given food and medicines to these people, personally I don't think that will work in changing the aid volunteers minds.

Greta is gasping for it, but I expect she'll be disappointed. Probably, she gets some sandwiches and a green hat, a night in a clean but firm bed, a chance to see a film she won't like, and a quick flight home. It looks to me as though both sides are reasonably happy with the optics of this.

I've seen it said the ship is UK registered, don't know if that's true but if it is , what is the UK government going to do about it ?, apparently the boat was in international waters when it was apparently attacked by the Israeli military and the occupants have been detained.

It's very concerning that a person in Parliament would label a UK citizen like that, I've checked the guy out, seems like he was a Conservative that changed sides to Labour and is/was vice chair of Labour friends of Israel, apparently been out to Israel and all that - I wonder if it was one of these all paid 5 star treatment jobs ?, different name to his dead brother - whats that all about. Seems like a wrong un to me.
The bloke said to be involved with the aid ship has apparently sued in the courts and won because he was labelled, bank accounts cancelled and all that, Israel had named him like they apparently do to try and discredit people, there are lots like him that take it to court and win I was reading because there is no evidence against them.
My concern is and it has been for years is that high ranking people in this country have been compromised by a foreign power, I find it very concerning and here we are now with an aid ship being seized in international waters and powerful people/press barons are trying to spin it that sending aid to starving people is somehow wrong.
