Nah the whole world is barking.

We closed coal mines and oilfields and won't ipen up more gas or oil fields but then we have to poay a 500 million subsidy to renenwables compamies to NOT produce electricity because the grid cannot cope with all that electricity coming down from Scottish wind farms.

Totally batshit crazy. The infrastructure needed to be upgraded in time for the wind farms but as usual this country is arse backwards.

It would appear that like Wales with its too many "firsts" the UK government are happy to drag us back to pre industrialised Britain days all in the name of net zero whilst other countries continue to use its natural resources and in doing so produce enough to allow us to buy from them .its the economics of madmen.

That's another reason I keep calling for a political overall in this country, the current format is not fit for purpose its the same old same old bollox and its not fit for purpose, we need to use all our own resources when they are clearly available.

It makes you wonder if some of our politicians have got interests in these things, meaning that its not in their interests to go down the routes you mention.

It's to be expected, Labour are centre to centre right, whilst Plaid are centre to centre left, some common ground sometimes but other times their opinions will differ.

Drakeford doesn't like being told he's wrong. He's rude to a lot of people when they front up to him. He's dismissive, self righteous and rude. Not good traits in anyone.

They may be a bunch of clowns in your opinion, but they don't seem to be slowing down. Maybe the public are buying into them and knockers like yourself are having little effect.

Huge increase in the cost of running the senedd next year. Their proposed budget will be over £100m. That works out ar £1 million per Senned member with three extra 36 Senedd members cost £1 million each. Which equates to £10 for every person in Wales.

A small price to pay if its efficient and benefits Wales. It's not and doesn't. The next lot have one term to turn it around or there should be a referendum on whether it should stay. At the end of the next Senedd it will be over 30 years since the devolution referendum, long enough to produce the results or go.

I can’t see Labour supporters voting Reform, as they know they are Tories in disguise.
So I think Plaid will, get in.

I think Plaid and Reform will be pretty much level pegging with Labour a distant 3rd and the rest nowhere. Massive turnaround since the last election.

The wheels will come off reform once people wake up and realise that Farage is full of bullshit and can’t count, so he is basically telling lies every time he opens his mouth.
The Welsh will, support the Welsh. Plaid will win it.

My personal view is that there are some serious clowns and beauts in their midst, but a lot of people have had a guts full and as many again if not more don’t have any interest in politics. Reform are going to attract the protest votes and they are also going to attract the passing votes of people who don’t really pay attention, don’t really understand and just listen to the message that is very well pushed by Reform and which resonates with them.

And there are those who are interested in politics and who support Reform. Love him or loath him, like Boris Farage is a very good communicator, whether he can stand up to some real scrutiny remains to be seen, but so far he’s holding his own.

The May elections here could actually have huge repercussions for UK politics. 24 years of Labour rule under threat from a newly formed party would be felt as a royal kick in the balls by the Labour Westminster elite.
Also take into account the change to an almost Proportional Representation expansion in the Senedd by Labour under the belief that it would probably return a greater number of Labour members….well let’s wait and see.

Labour have cooked their own goose, the 20mph speed limit, increase in the number of AM’s, Vaughan Gething’s donation and for many people the failure to sort out the Brynglas tunnels just grates people.

I genuinely believe that some of the ills we’re experiencing were / are beyond the control of the Senedd and are more attributable to Westminster (primarily funding when age and social deprivation factors are taken account of) BUT at the end of the day the AM’s and Labour have to face the music because they’ve come up short!

I am sure there are people who will disagree with me, while I am keen on conservation, preserving the environment etc but I recognise we also need to have economic development so we can improve standards of living, reduce poverty etc etc. I genuinely believe Boris offer to build a relief road around Newport was BS and a ploy, but Drakers should have bitten his hand off when Boris made the offer and called his bluff. Failure to do that and build a new road around Newport is my biggest beef.

14 Labour AMs so far not seeking re election is an indication that they know what is coming.

wasn't Johnsons offer of the money after Drakeford had wasted 120 million on feasibility study which included buying up numerous private property's at above the market value only to to decide that newts were more important .
I agree that a lot of Wales problems stem from a lack of funding but why then should the money they have received been wasted on so many vanity projects which have had no benefit to the Welsh folk.

They are miles ahead on social media effectiveness. They are reaching all the people the other parties can’t. Those that don’t watch the news or listen to the radio. The young on Tik Tok etc.

Trump created a new audience for himself by appearing on popular podcasts, this is the way to go these days. Can’t imagine Starmer or Badenoch sitting down with the Undertaker or Logan Paul.

Knocking on doors handing out leaflets just doesn’t work anymore and probably never did.

Destroyed on Newsnight last night ?

For those who don't watch it Rhun Ap Iorwerth was on the programme. He was incredibly lucid in his answers to questions. I'd suggest that anyone who is interested in what he was like should catch up with it on iplayer and not simply accept what Luther says at face value..
