Guess it depends on who approached who first. If his agents are approached then, it is slightly different. I’d be disappointed as it’s less than 1 year he’s been with us and I think he can develop further with us. Guess we’ll find out in 2 weeks or so. |
In football we talk about seasons rather than years. No, he hasn't been with us for a year (only fifty weeks), but he has been with us for a full season.
I like Varane & would like him to be with us this season, but I can't say I thought that after seeing his debut at Cambridge United! |  |
