Be interesting to see what happens come next May, I've no idea on what the outcome will be, but let's hope Labour get shown the door and lets hope Reform don't get anywhere near the Senedd either. It's probably Plaids best ever chance, not sure they are up to it though.

"In June, pollster YouGov has asked people across the UK how they would vote in a general election, and in Wales it shows Reform would take 21 of the 32 seats in Wales."

I certainly won't vote Labour again, but Reform and Plaid is a choice between a rock and a hard place

This is exactly the opinion of many in Wales and what is holding me back at the moment.

I’m decided on one thing. Not to vote Plaid. I think Labour returning would be better and that option stinks to high heaven. It’s Reform for me but only out of it being the best if a bad bunch.

Best of abad bunch, that's not true though nobody knows what to expect from reform, they could the best or the worst, I'm of the opinion that they'll be worse.

No leader in Wales, no policies (can't wait for the manifesto) and Farage keeps making promises we know they can't keep/ I don't see how anyone can vote for them, specially anyone who'd never vote tory. I will admit I agreed with a few things Farage said on Kuennsberg at the weekend. The water company thing is a national disgrace. People can, will and have made excuses but it's been nothing else than politicians looking after mates and giving them a vehicle to make a lot of money.
Welsh Labour on 16:00 - Jul 21 with 731 views | AnotherJohn | Plaid would be even more woke than Labour - infuriatingly detached from reality. I do not see Reform as the long-term future, butt there has got to be an exemplary shock to bring the other parties back to sane policies, and voting Reform is the only way to achieve that shock. The present bunch in power have stitched things up with their Senedd reforms so that Independents are not the answer.

The other thing that voting Reform could achieve is Wales being a political guinea pig. The rest of the country could watch their spectacular failure here and never elect them in the first place. It'll be too late for us by then though.

Labour have been making promises they never kept for the last 25 years in Wales. Time the people of Wales woke up and got rid of them. We need a party that looks after businesses who create jobs and prosperity as well as the UK interest. That rules out Plaid and Labour. The bigger the mess UK labour keeps making the more votes Labour will lose. Only today the figures on Government borrowing for June came out the second worst ever. This is despite the huge tax hikes that caused the rise in inflation and the rise in Government borrowing costs.

Making a promise and not keeping it is very different to making a promise yoy can never keep. Some of Farage's promises are impossible to keep. How do you know it rules out Plaid, do you know of Plaid's manifesto? Do you think Reform can do what you want? Labour have been a mess, a mess for 25 years in Wales and mess for their current time in Westminster.

I may be wrong, but if there's a mess to fix, it's generally accepted that the best thing to do isn't to make the mess considerably worse. Blaming the Tories doesn't wash any more. It wasn't the Tories who ramped up the taxes on employment, who started the capital flight, who failed to convince even their own members that maybe it isn't the best idea to let the sickness benefit bill keep spiralling out of control. That's all on Labour. Labour are doing what Labour always do. Taxing and spending. Problem is there's not much left to tax but they keep spending anyway.

I know that Plaid wants to give illegal immigrants free access to buses. Buses that young girls and women use daily. Makes me 🤮.
