1. Saints supporters were excellent and made up about 1/3 of the crowd, a long time since I have been to a Saints away game where that has been the case.
2. Sixfields Stadium was easy to get to and park and a pub on top of the hill above the ground was very convenient
3. Poor attendance from the home fans, probably because of the price, £20 to watch a Championship side was a bit steep in the 1st round of the league cup, Pompey charged £14 I believe for their game and got a decent crowd
4. Easy trip up and down, I was back in the house just after mid night
5. Although easy to get too, it was out on a retial park on the edge of town, I am glad that we didn't end up at Stoneham, |  |

Our sat nav told us the A34 was closed at Oxford, and we should go via the M1 / M40 / M25 to get to the M3.
Which in itself was horrendous. Had to divert via Slough.
Got back to Poole at about 2.30am.

Which in itself was horrendous. Had to divert via Slough.
Got back to Poole at about 2.30am.

Aside from a slight diversion through Abingdon I think, the A34 was open when we went though Oxford
Surely there were better routes than the one you took , M40 down to Maidenhead and then down through Basingstoke to the M3 would probably have been better | |

1. I didn't realise the ground was dry, though given the weather drinking water was probably a good thing
2. The walk back to the train station was a trek and really made you realise how crap out of town grounds are
3. The performance was sluggish but i wasn't hugely surprised as a combination of the weather and Northampton's "agricultural" football meant it was always going to be that sort of game
4. We look like a side that has worked out how to grind out results, i know we're not playing brilliantly right now but that gives me a lot of hope, under Martin when we weren't playing well we lost

Same here Pat got in at 1.40 am horrendous journey with huge delays on M 25 due to lane closures. My sat nav said the same A 34 shut . My brother who was in separate car had same problem. |  |

Good to chat to a few saints fans in the six fields pub.
I pre booked parking via just park. Parked in Sainsbury’s only 4.59 for 5 hours.
Awful game not much to say about it really . Damion downs was poor, Wood played ok , the rest very average. Good goal by Fernandes but you feel he’s off, I just hope saints stick to their price again which is so refreshing to see well played Spors . Fernandes he’s definitely worth 50 million so pay up or do one. | |

Got back to Salisbury 12.15, took ages to get out of car park after the game, then our sat nav took us via Wantsge A338 then back to Abingdon
Shame ground so far out, as great pubs in centre including the Malt Shovel, so we got Uber in and lift back with mate to ground for match |  | | |

My built-in SatNav is pretty pants some of the time. I can't complain too much though because over the past couple of years, it's saved me getting 6 points for speeding on two occasions with its police mobile speed camera van alerts! |  |

I don't think they could extend the away section to the side , however they could have opened the opposite end and we would probably have sold another 500 tickets which would have put another 10,000 in their pockets | |

Total overkill, he was using a bit of industrial language, the chief steward came over told him to stop (he did) He then came back with 2 heavies and asked him to leave, he went down with them (no problems, to argue his case, all very pleasant). They still wanted to chuck him out, then came 2 coppers who grabbed him and roughly dragged him out and handcuffed him, then 2 more coppers arrived plus extra stewards. (I was sat above the gate all this was happening) | | | |
