Totally agree. Madsen and Celar were THE marquee signings last year and their abject failure at QPR is currently the icing on a horrific tasting cake, designed and created by Nourry.

Burrell has done no more than Celar so far.
Poku can’t do a lot from the treatment room.
Kone looks ok but now has one goal in his last 14 games. 13 of those at league one level.
Esquerdinha has been ok. He’s a teenager. Too much too soon for him I fear.
He’s spent a lot of money largely on potential. We have a lot of well thought of young players. Right now though I don’t think we have many assets that’ll demonstrate a return on his investment. | | | |

I’m not digging him. Just stating the fact he’s done naff all so far. How could you possibly point at him as an unquestioned ’good signing’ already?
Yes I am blaming Nourry for Poku being injured. He’s employed, retained and promoted Williams who oversaw preseason from a fitness perspective. I also blame him for Dembele getting cramp in the first half today and Sam Field talking about them blowing after 45 mins.
And yes, Kone has only been a striker in League One up to now. That’s literally irrefutable fact.
We just got beat 7-1 and were lucky it weren’t more. How good can the recruitment possibly be? | | | |
