3 games in (4 if you include Northampton) and we’ve been behind in every league game we’ve played. We start at such a pedestrian pace. Stokes second goal yesterday when they were down to ten men was very reminiscent of the many goals we conceded last season, caught on the break. I can’t remember the last time we scored a goal from breaking away flooding forwards. Plodding football seems to be ingrained in our club at present.

I’ve watched every game so far and a lot of the time you’d think that Juric and Rusk were still managers.
When is it going to change , Still continues to say the same thing but why did the loons appoint him if we didn’t have the players to play the football he says he wants / needs?

Writing off Will Still after 4 games is ridiculous. Anyone thinking he is going to instantly turn around a side that was a total disaster last season is delusional. It’s going to take time and a change in personnel admittedly not helped by poor buys by SR. I hope he moves to a back 4 and gets a defensive partnership developing and if we can spend the Dibling money on proven Championship players and keep Fernandez then we have a chance. We are going to lose games on the way but give the manager a chance ffs. |  |

Some of the players are probably capable of playing WS's way, but if he doesn't get new players (none so far to speak of) then he needs more time to get them to play his way.
He's said in many interviews how we play too slow etc (as we have done since RM) so it's obvious he's trying to make a change, but if he doesn't get new blood to shake up the squad then it's going to be a long road.
Above all else we need a centre forward and I doubt we'll get one. | | | |

I dunno how footballers get such a free pass when it comes to playing differently.
They've had several months with Still including training camps, and they work on things every day.
I have no idea why people think it takes so much time to change the way you play. It's not that complicated. It's just an easy excuse for losing. |  | | |

After yesterday’s game all I see is a group of ‘talented’ individuals, we don’t seem to be playing as a team which I feel is due to the transfer window.
After Watford, we’ve a two week break before the Portsmouth game. The transfer window closes on the 1st so we should have a solid and final squad of those who have remained and (hopefully) a few new faces.
I’d be looking to get these away for a warm weather week to really bond, not just on the training field but socially where they could really get to know one another. It’s a very long season and I’d like to see our team start to gel and work for one another, if they don’t then it could not only be long but also a very frustrating season. | |

Agree BUT he cannot persist with 3 at the back if he sets up like that again that will begin to worry me that he is another part of the problem
We need to be quicker everywhere passing pressing attacking
He needs new blood for sure but setting the team up he can do now
