He did play well.

Thing is, strikers often are responsible for their own lack of service. The ones that constantly make runs and demand the ball get a lot more service than those that hang around the edge of the box and wait for it to come to them. Surely you can see that?

As an example, using a player we both used to rate really highly, but plenty didn’t get, Routledge used to get more clear shooting chances than nearly anyone. Some put it down to luck. You knew full well it was clever off the ball movement. Different position but same principle.

‘All mostly struggled too’ - can’t agree with that. We were comfortably on top after the first ten minutes or so.

Inoussa is a clever player and maybe the only one who sees Vipotniks runs and plays him in (and possibly Galbraith too who was again phenomenal yesterday).

The ball hardly got past the midfield under Williams and on the odd occasion it did precious few times was it delivered to his feet running in on goal. Even post Williams and with the likes of O’Brien he didn’t get much service bar the Plymouth game where he should have done better. We have an entirely different midfield now and he’s making the best of it.

You give me the impression of somewhat of a “tyre kicker” in a football fans’ sense - great at picking out superficial faults but no idea what goes on under the bonnet.

Follow Perch’s example and at least appreciate him when he’s doing well. Everyone can make rash statements about players but surely can recognize a tweak can make all the difference in their performances? Go on enjoy yourself life’s way too short.

Do you agree that the rest of the team has a part to play in assisting the strikers also or will you continue to insist that Vipotnik is soley responsible for the service he gets?

"the service came AS SOON AS HE MADE IT EASY FOR TEAMMATES TO CREATE CHANCES FOR HIM"

Nothing to do with the other ten players on the pitch. All his fault. His alone.

Bonkers.

Of course I agree with that.

Find me one post where I’ve said Vipotnik is solely responsible for creating his own chances.

I shouldn’t need to explain the bit in capitals but... He made it easier for them to create chances for him and they duly created more.

You’re too intelligent to have interpreted my post the way you just presented it. Very poor post by your standards. Disagree and put your own opinion forward but don’t resort to trying to twist my words into something I didn’t say

Your third paragraph made me laugh fair play. By superficial points, you mean things you don’t understand until it’s been explained to you.

The Inoussa point is fair enough. If you’ve got someone driving at a defender, Vipotnik can make a run outside him and have the ball played in front of him, which plays to his strength. If he can get a shot away, on either foot, even from a tight angle, he’s got as good a chance as anybody. We need to do more of that because it works for him.

I think I’ve understood the reasons why Vipotnik hasn’t started ripping up trees and I concur with the Dr - Vipotnik can’t be blamed for the inadequacies of the coach who failed to set up a side to play to his strengths. Why can’t you see that?

So you are blaming sheehan for vip not putting himself about?

Until a week ago vip has done nothing to merit a start, hes been that bad an adequate attacking midfielder has been starting before him.

Since his minor outburst hes been better but still not ino ripping up trees.

Btw i do hope and pray that he stays and does keep up this scoring form.

An inadequate attacking midfielder has been playing ahead of him due to a misjudgement by Sheehan, one hopefully now rectified permanently.

Even an off form Vip offered more upfront than Cullen does.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Disagree, absolutely nothing to do with sheehans misjudgements.

Cullen has been better than vip as a striker, which says alot about how poor vip has been before his tantrum..

Vip is now starting to show us how good he can be, hes definitely got more in his locker, he seems to be better for his rant, a rant that was caused by him not playing to his full potential.

Because it’s nonsense. You’re blaming a manager who left the club in February.

Got to ask, what, in your opinion are Vipotnik’s strengths?

"Tantrum" "rant"??
Serious question. When did this happen? I've only seen accusations. Another was he was "kicking off ".

Were you on the moon about 10 days ago?

He had words with sheehan at a training session, think his agent got involved.

By the looks of it, it has calmed down and im glad.

Where did these stories come From?

A few words were exchanged between vip and sheehan.

Keef put it on the forum around 10/11 days ago.

I heard his agent got involved.

It seems to have calmed down and more importantly vip has sorted himself out.

He has taken all his 4 goals brilliantly and I hope this run continues.

So there was no rant, tantrum and nothing kicked off.
Just a few words exchanged. Thank you for clearing that up.

I said that there was a kick off on the training pitch between sheehan and vip, words were exchanged, then vip stormed off.

His agent got involved and I guess, yes im guessing (not saying it happened) that it got sorted as vip is still with us, playing and playing well.

Is that clear enough clever clogs?

If you had been keeping up on this forum you would have read what keef said had happened.

As clear as mud.

I read this forum along with other outlets nearly everyday. Don't be afraid to have your own opinion and ask questions.

WTF are you on about - seriously?
We haven’t had players either with the ability or bright enough to be on his wavelength. All of a sudden we’ve got two or three - in particular Inoussa and Galbraith.
With Cullen or Ollie Cooper behind him it was never really happening. Nothing to do with Sheehan more of a personnel issue.

You mentioned that vip couldn't be blamed for the inadequacies of the coach, that is wtf im on about.

I mentioned that vip being poor wasn't to do with sheehan, now you blame the players, yes galbraith is a great player inoussa is decent but we had o'brien who was 2 levels ahead of everyone we had on the pitch last season.

My point about vip starting to play well is the bust up, words said, kick off, whatever happened has given him the kick up the @rse hes needed.

Just to remind you that we did have galbraith and inoussa playing alongside vip before his kick up the @rse 😉

As good as LoB was, he wasn't a creative midfielder. Also I can't be bothered to check the figures as this debate is becoming a bit dull, but I doubt Vip's path crossed with Inoussa and Galbraith all that much prior to the Watford game.

I think we need to call a truce here.

I don't think Vip had anything like a fair crack of the whip last season, was blamed for a lot of things that simply weren't his fault, and despite that he still ended up with seven goals. Given the backing of his manager and decent service from the rest of the team I don't doubt that he's capable of at least doubling that tally, which would be a very decent return.

Others might disagree, and that's fine, no matter how much I might feel like arguing to the contrary when I'm bored.

They have played a fair few minutes together Doc, mostly during the friendlies.

Its strange that vip didnt even get on the pitch for the Sheffield United game, then all of sudden he gets the equaliser in the Watford game after a great 15 min or so cameo, i do wonder what happened in that week between those two games 🤔

I just think that this event has spurred him on, his movement on sat was brilliant, like a true no9, in every game ive seen him play i havent seen him move as much as yesterday's game.

You are right though mate, everyone has an opinion, its just that mine is correct 😉

Anyway nos da.
