Former director? on 18:36 - Sep 2 with 1831 views | dawlishdale | I must confess I know little about Accountancy qualifications, but is this qualification a highly respected one or a more junior one from which you can progress. Either way; it appears that it's a severe reprimand, (as the ruling states) together with being fined a considerable sum of money and being Divested of FMAAT status for 2 years. 2 years... hmm. That rings a bell !!

It’s bloody serious, and, if he is anything to do with Dale on any basis, he should be gone immediately. It’s not an oversight, it’s a deliberate act and being effectively struck off for 2 years is career suicide to anyone with integrity. To try and give you a basic idea, it’s like me giving you financial advice, on something I’m not qualified of licenced to do, whilst not being insured to give that advice. It’s absolutely damming!!!!

I think Rodney Trotters 2 GCSEs were an equivalent level of qualification. Companies House has Nicholas James listed N J GRINDROD & CO LIMITED people - Find and update company information - GOV.UK https://share.google/FLJKaD644rdyKcE06 Why would you drop your surname? [Post edited 2 Sep 19:33]

He is now a Director of NJG Consultants Ltd How odd (not) that he is now listed as 'Nicolas James' and not his full name of 'Nicolas James Grindrod' He also resigned as 'NJG' around the time of the investigation then was then re registered as 'NJ' shortly after Another chancer caught out

No doubt the offences and punishment will be trivialised, the publisher of this publicly available information labelled a toxic trouble maker and there's nothing to see here folks, move on. #wrongunsouted

His involvement in past management does bring about a shudder, thinking back to what it was like existing in that chaotic time, but.... now with stability...it brings on real happiness of where we now at as club. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Former director? on 00:06 - Sep 3 with 1161 views | Sandyman | Didn't he send an e mail prior to the infamous night of the meetings in June 2021 claiming credible parties were in place to take over the club? In just over a month, it was clear how lacking in credibility said "parties" were. Birds of a feather.....

That's correct. A email pleading with fans to cancel the planned vote and pointing out the damage that those removing Bottomley and Rawlinson would do to the long term future of the club. The email has been retained i believe. A last minute desperate attempt by another charlatan who had infiltrated the club and has been proved to be a wrong'un. The worrying thing is that even at the end we still had some 'fans', i prefer to call them 'hangers on' who backed Bottomley etc 100% even after he left the club. In their eyes the problem was the 'trouble makers', the mob. Some of those people are still around the club and are now currying favour with the new regime. They were Bottomleys biggest backers and they know who they are. I suppose you get them at every club. If anybody with a criminal background or of dubious character puts themselves in a position of responsibility at the club then i would like to think that supporters would sound the alarm, most of who are shareholders in the club. The Ogden family would expect that at a time when they are pumping millions of pounds into the club. To keep quiet wouldn't be normal. The alternative is to brush it under the carpet and look the other way, pretend it's something and nothing. The best way to deal with a boil is to lance it, we've seen what happens when you leave it to fester and as a club i would expect that we are now operating in a much more professional manner than we've seen in the past. Can you imagine what state the club would be in now had the likes of Bottomley, Rawlinson, Grinrod etc been allowed to carry on unopposed? Something that some supporters would have allowed to happen had it been up to them. We'd have no club now. Thank god for the 'mob' and the 'toxic' troublemakers, the ones who put their head above the parapet and speak up if things don't seem right. Life long fans who love the club and don't deserve to be derided, especially by those who were nowhere to be seen when the bullets were flying and the club needed saving. [Post edited 3 Sep 8:21]

AAT is the junior level qualification - as stated earlier, equivalent to a GCSE level. That said, its a good starting point and for those who are starting out, and don't feel comfortable starting CIMA, ACCA or ACA - its good and should be encouraged. That said, I've never seen a supposedly C level employee even mentions it... its something you do at the start of you career, then move on.

Absolutely correct. There are still many dale supporters out there who don't realise how close the club came to being extinct due to those charlatans that were custodians of the club at the time. Thank god for so called 'toxic' supporters who saw through them and stood up to them. They should forever be remembered as saviours of the club not now vilified by some that are still around the club.
