So only 9 arrests today, some on here won't be happy?

In other news...

8 Metropolitan Police officers suspended after investigation.

London Pride boss suspended.

I for one am very glad it went off peacefully today, although I expect there’ll be a few more to come.

I’m quite surprised by the relatively low numbers attending, mind.

Weather was ok so I thought there’d be more, especially as Elon Musk has been promoting it so heavily for weeks.

From the the drone pictures it seemed like a massive crowd were there. What figure did the media come up with?

The Met Police state that officers faced "unacceptable violence" yet only nine arrests? Sounds like they've been given a line to take from above more than any reality.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

As OHL says, around 110k or for context, around a quarter of the number the who marched in 2002 against the ban on hunting with dogs.

Compared to the amount of work that say, the Notting Hill Carnival generates for them today would basically have been like semi retirement, so why the need to exagerrate the issues?

Do they not understand how easily people see through this now?

BBC reporting on the event is embarrassing, main stream media still peddling wishy washy photos off angry men with union jacks and middle aged woman quietly holding up "women against" (enter text) posters.

Police injuries a prolapsed disc, head injury, and possible broken nose...and a partridge in a pair tree !

From very precise injury the NHS normally takes 6 months to confirm to random injuries that might happen at any similar event.

Spitting Image would have a field day.

It was way more than 100k and looking at the aerial footage I'd have to agree.
Cup finals are 90k and we see the crowds converging on Wembley - this was a hell of a lot bigger than that.
I spoke to a few people last night in the pub who went and central London was gridlocked.
The only bit of bother was when a crush situation developed in one street in Whitehall when the Leftard loons were allowed to get dangerously close to UTK protestors and that's where tensions spilled over and the majority of arrests were made..

As usual, completely biased crap from the mainstream media

"Far right thuggery march of the UK Granny SS - we should clutch our vegan pearls and ban it !" - 23 arrests
"Notting Hill Carnival wonderful display of the diversity that is our strength" - 528 arrests and 4 stabbings

This "Diversity is Our Strength" shyte reminds me of the Nazis "Strength Through Joy" brainwashing slogan of the 1930s and the BBC has become a Volksichter Beobachter of the C21st, churning out a Uniparty mantra that many of us never asked for, disagree with and vehemently object to.

Television the drug of the nation breeding ignorance and feeding radiation....

100.000 mm archers confused as to why Brexit is not working as they were promised.

They voted to reduce immigration and replace European trade with Asian trade. They do not understand after sending all those legal young Europeans away Asians some illegal would replace them.

They are very frustrated..Boris Gove and Farage said it would be great but it is worse. It makes no sense to them.

Television and the mainstream media don’t hold the power any more, that’s in the hands of Musk and the like who are happy to share this to a much wider audience:

How long until he changes the X algorithm as people use Grok to immediately to undermine his posts.

A well respected long time serving MP has publicly announced that the march was over 3 million strong , how much more verification does anyone need.

Who said that?

I’m sorry but that figure is beyond ridiculous.

The express (probably the most TR friendly paper) estimated 150k, 20 times less than the stated figure.

I haven’t got the brain to estimate accurately but to me it looked around half than turned out for the Countryside Alliance march which was put at around 400k

Nobody on this site (and it’s thankfully a broad church) has used the words far right or facist to describe the purpose of the march or anyone who attended.

I don’t blame you, neither would I!

This might give it some kind of context, though.

Westminster bridge (where we got some good photos) is 85 feet wide. In a dense crowd each person needs about 2 foot square.

To fit 3 million onto that bridge, the bridge would have to be over 16 miles long. That’s how crazy that figure is.

Of course they were also in two squares and a couple of streets but at that density of crowd between 110 and 150k is about right.

For arguments sake lets double the top number, it is still 10 times less than the claim. Triple it and it's over 6 times less. 3 million is an absurd claim

A few thousand people can cause gridlock in London because at busy times the roads are slow moving anyway, it doesn't take much to stop traffic.

I really don’t understand the benefit of pitching such an insane figure.

Surely if they wanted to point to media bias they should have gone for a number that’s realistic?

That day 150,000 or 3 million who cares.

There are a lot more in the UK who think the same as those in London yesterday you can't deny that, and if another event like this happened again there would be more there than yesterday, I bet a lot of people sitting on the fence were waiting to see how this went and 9 arrested at the END of the organised event, is not a bad guidance to see if people would make the effort next time...
