The only game I’ve not seen so far is the Watford game. All the rest I’ve watched we’ve started miles off the pace. Today we set a very low bar to make that lot look half decent. Pinned back and lumping the ball forward to Archer with Shaughnessy marking him seemed to be our modus operandi. Second half was a bit better. Don’t look like scoring many goals from open play at the moment this season.
It’s only 5 games as someone else said but jeez, that was shite. |  |

Yes trusting in the manager, players and club has served us well in the last few years with two relegations in three seasons and about 5 different sh!t managers. But trust the process. [Post edited 14 Sep 16:49]

No point pretending. I might as well say be positive, Putin will stop attacking Ukraine. No sign of it, so can't just make things up, just for the sake of being positive.
We can't score, we don't have a striker, we dont create any chances, scraped past newly promoted Wrexham, that's our only win and we are in the lower half of the championship. Let's hope it gets better, just like I hope there will be peace in Ukraine, but at the moment there is no sign of either happening. Say it as it is. It was sh!t today particularly in the first half and its been very average in every other game. No point pretending. I can only go on what I've seen so far and its been very poor. Nothing to be done now the window has closed but get behind the manager and the team. Glad to see four at the back. Charles and Downes have yet to develop as an effective midfield duo. Fellows did ok and will find his feet like Azaz one hopes. My concern is that 4-2-3-1 needs a striker that can hold the ball up, bring others into play and get on the end of crosses. Not sure which of our four strikers can do that role. | | | |

Very hard to disagree with this.
In our 5 league games we’ve looked far from a team challenging for the playoffs offs.
We are 15 th and exactly where we deserve to be , and unless there is a vast improvement then that’s about where we will finish.
I don’t like Still, don’t think he should have been appointed but he’s here -he needs to get results he’s got the players he apparently wanted time now to deliver .

It's very unconvincing. One shot on target at home in a massive derby. 1 win in 5 and that was against newly promoted Wrexham on the 96th minute. It's not bedwetting to have standards. In the PL for most of my life, above Pompey for most of my life and how times have changed. Yes, there is a long way to go, but we dont have any shots, any attacking play, any aggression, any crosses into the box, we can't score. It's 5 pretty average/ poor games. Big improvements needed. |
