Rome wasn’t built in a day…… 17:35 - Sep 18 with 2358 views | TripleNiemi | Just seen that Alfie has quoted Will Still as saying ‘Rome wasn’t built in a day, and it also wasn’t built on a load of rubble, which is what we were reduced to here last season’……. A pretty damning view from our Manager on the state of things eh…… A Sport Republic celebration of success??? We March On

It's very early days yet, but I'd rather be in their shoes than ours. We're all assuming/hoping that we will pick up and start playing good football, climb the table & look a class above. But in order to do that, you have to start putting those good performances in & win games regularly. Nothing I've seen so far indicates that we are about to do that. |
Boro are one nil up. I wonder what Azaz is thinking. As you say 10 points adrift of 1st place.

Borough were quality tonight. We will struggle against this lot. Conway looked a handful upfront.

You are right big clubs do spend time in the lower leagues, after all only 15 seasons ago we were playing in the 3rd division. Clubs go down and stay down mainly by having bad transfer windows and badly managed from the top. [Post edited 19 Sep 16:17]

It’s far too early to judge with loads of new signings coming in , we have bought some top championship players so let’s hope they gel . Yes we’ve gone downhill a bit but time to worry will be after about 10 games if we’re not performing. I see middlesboro won again tonight they are already starting to pull away and we have them next week .
