There’s a lot of constituencies with 30-40% Muslim populations and Jezbollah will hoover up nearly all of these votes as well as the weird purple haired goblin folk and other batshit crazies and also those generally disaffected with the direction of the Labour Party. We already saw safe Labour seats fall to independents standing solely on the issue of Gaza last year

I've put the YouGov polls up on here before showing the UK public are more sympathetic to the Palestinian cause than Israel. The move they are going to make is because what Israel is doing in Gaza has been recognised as a genocide by UN, ICJ etc so their hand is forced they have little choice.

I imagine it’s true that people are sympathetic to the plight of the Palestinian people, but being pro Palestinian cause is a separate thing altogether.
Anyone in their right mind can see that any future for Palestine has to be without the influence of Hamas, Hezbollah and other armed totalitarian terrorist groups that exist to inflict as much pain on their own people and Israel as possible. They won’t lay their arms down willingly so what other options do Israel have?

Israel are no more committing Genocide than the Allied forces who fought their way through France, Belgium, Holland and Germany on their way to Berlin did. 25-30,000 French civilians died during the Battle of Normandy alone.
