Ended 11-0. Can anyone remember a bigger win for one of our teams?

I see Bircham is moaning that this margin of victory is 'not the QPR way.'

| Dev Squad on 19:57 - Sep 24 with 7124 views | derbyhoop | Harefield are managed by Richard Pacquette, once of this parish. They play level 9 of the pyramid. I'd hope our DS were at level 6 (National League South) as a bare minimum, so the result shouldn't be a complete shock. | |

| Dev Squad on 07:11 - Oct 7 with 5829 views | dmm | I'm looking forward to watching our lads v Watford U21s on Friday and seeing a few of the newbies such as Kaleb Dyke, Isak Alemayehu and Kobe Agbude. Maybe Ashley Trujillo too if he's picked. I've been wondering which youngster will be the next to break through into the seniors. There needs to be a spot opened up, probably through injury, but nonetheless that pathway must be kept open for the grand plan to work. My guess would be one or maybe two from Tylon Smith, Daniel Bennie or Emmerson Sutton. Isak Alemayehu is one to watch too. He played senior games in the top Swedish division and UEFA Conference League before coming to us. When he signed, the statement said he would initially link up with QPR’s Development Squad, so there's an expectation he'd move up to the seniors at some point. [Post edited 7 Oct 7:12]

I really must make some effort to remember his name, but the Aberdeen lad looks something. Also, from watching the Dev. Cup final, anyone know how Alfie Tuck is doing? I thought he looked good that night. Then again, I also thought the same of Murphy, but we let him go.

Timothy Akindileni, and yes he looks a really good prospect. Just turned 18. We have a very promising set of young CBs coming through - him, Smith, Wilkie, McCann all look good. We could well see one or two in the senior squad next season. Tuck is on loan at Hampton & Richmond until the end of next month. I heard he was doing well a while ago. Another up-and-coming youngster.

Good stuff! Timmy A/TA/Tim should be easy enough from here on. Also fingers crossed for Alfie T/AT/Alf as well.

| Dev Squad on 16:09 - Oct 10 with 4994 views | dmm | Just coming back from the DS game today. We had a very young side out who held their own against an older Watford side. Ended 1-1. And we did mix it up playing it long and short from the back. So maybe the game model has changed across all ages. | | | |

I’m thinking half the DS is out on loan? Interesting balance between building a team and best experience. Maybe why such a young team out

I saw the team sheet and it wouldn't have been out of place for the U18s. In fact, how many of the side were over 18

Arguably 6 to 8 players from the 18s depending whether you count Putnam and Neill who are on the fringes of the DS.

I thought it looked like the first team formation too. We scored both goals which is something… and great experience against a Watford team that looked older and was certainly bigger. We missed the pace of Coombs and Trujillo though. [Post edited 10 Oct 17:30]

Thanks for that. I've been wondering if the style had been adjusted and it sounds like it may have.

I'm sticking with my belief that the more direct approach was always the plan and that is why we hired Jules. Especially since it is all the rage now. I could be wrong, I may well be wrong. But you never know
