It amazes me how bias some club commentators and fans can be. We all are loyal to our clubs but it is good to listen to other clubs views. Millwall just mentioned their manager 100 times during the game instead of watching the game. Their players saw the ref was indecisive so they went through the back of our our players 7 times and got no yellow. As for the pen it followed the ref inibility to make a decision all game.

We’ll have to agree to disagree on people from Swansea who follow Rangers as a second team because of what they represent.

It’s a step further than being proud to be British as I’m sure you know.

I’m not going to get into this though, a β€˜patriotism’ argument is exactly what Trampie wabts.

I suspect half of this nonsense is a reaction to the Trampie types who wish to sow hatred and discord between the English and the Welsh. The people for whom the idea that you can be quite happy to be both Welsh and British is too complicated for their tiny minds to compute.

My paternal grandad was from Northampton. I had a few pints after the game yesterday with my Millwall supporting cousin (his mother was from Swansea and married a London serviceman posted here during the war). Am I supposed to hate these people just because they were born on the other side of the Severn?

We don’t always manage the ref as well as we should. We had two very decent penalty shouts yesterday. Cabango should have been screaming at him after the first and we may have got the second. There wasn’t even a massive reaction after the second.

Sheehan did talk about it in his interview, but we’ve had two penalties and a good goal disallowed in two games, he needs to be hammering that home.

Teams that are quite passive about bad decisions tend to get more given against them.

If it was Warnock the world would know about it!

In answer to your question at the end of your post , to some on here ,yes you should hate them otherwise how can you call yourself (if you do of course) a proud welshman ,Trampie and a few others are the reason why I hold Nationalists in such disdain.

I call in you to criticise Swansea fans singing ethnic slurs every game and the Bristol city 309 who sang ethnic slurs for a hours at last seasons Cardiff game and attacked Welsh drinkers at the Station.

I actually do not believe refers are discriminatory to Welsh teams and this is because my views are balanced.

You went to watch Cardiff vs Bristol City last season then.

Yes exactly. If a Warnock team had a good goal disallowed, he’d go mental and refs would think twice about not giving two penalties the week after.

Cabango has a part to play as well. He doesn’t need to go full on Roy Keane, but he’s entitled to have a go when we’re that hard done by

The biggest Welsh Nationalist I know is a friend of mine. A fluent Welsh speaking musician who once spent fifteen minutes explaining to me how the story of King Arthur was stolen from the Welsh by the English. But he doesn't hate anyone. He doesn't think he's oppressed and he has many Saes friends.

If more of them were like him instead of poison pourers like Trampie more people would take them seriously.

Nonsense argument, it's like been in the North of Ireland in 1969 one lot having their homes burnt and somebody like you saying it needs to be remembered that a teenager from that side through a stone in responce.

God help me I can’t help it …
There is no such thing as the birth of Ireland , it’s the province of Northern Ireland , a part of the United Kingdom , like Wales and both will always remain so
Rangers , like Celtic represent bigotry and people outside Glasgow ” support” them for one reason and one reason alone

Everything brought down to racist filthy English bxxxxxstuds and we need to stop this as it’s surely driving people away

As it should be , people throw brickbats at the English when they drape themselves in the flag of St George but fail to see the irony when we do it.
Rabid Nationalists have always proven to be the danger to a peaceful existence , Hitler was the prime example of following that ideology to the extreme.
Be proud of who you are but accept other nationalities have the same dreams ,wishes for their own and doesn't make them any less of a person nor better.

Indeed
First, there is no genetic difference between English and Welsh
I believe people can be classed as urban or rural folk
That’s the main difference and where people have different perspectives
Speak to a Geordie , a Jack and a Brummie and you will find little difference
We are more homogenous than Trampie would like to think

There are good and bad everywhere , including Wales

I’ve lived here on this peninsular dusty years next year and feel privileged to live here though Swansea will always be my spiritual home and my default setting , like it or not and often it’s not

Yeah, I ignore him now. It's groundhog day with him and there's only so mnay times I can do that before it just gets too boring.

I'm even fairly confident of what response he would make to this bceuase he is so predictable.

Officials apparently are required to say what team they support so they don't get to officiate that team, why is that ?, doesn't that tell you something.

I have no issue with English officials officiating English teams against Welsh teams as there is no choice and I would guess that 99% would be fair but there is no upside in it for Welsh teams.

Well a ref who supports Manyoo can hardly ref Manyoo. It's not the same as an English ref taking a club match though. You're strecthing now, searching for reasons that aren't there.

Would you be ok with, say...a Cardiff fan reffing us?

The elephant in the room is English officials officiating games between a Welsh team and an English team, I reckon it costs the Swans and other Welsh teams about 3pts a season, which could cost them promotion or cause relegation.

Your answer I guess would be leave the EFL and play in the Cymru nation league where you would get Welsh Referees every week even though the standards of Referees is far worse.
