One of those games where you expect 3 points, but didn’t create enough to deserve 3 points and fair play to Oxford as they did what they had to do very well.

I can’t honestly remember either keeper making a save in the game:

The starting line up lacked a bit of creativity with Hayden and Field in the middle a kind of pairing you would go with in an away game against one of the top teams not in a game you are expected to dominate and win.

I will say we did get into some strong crossing positions but the balls never got past the 1st defender.

A bit disappointed tonight in the fact we lacked that cutting edge …MOM …nobody stood out but will go with Norrington-Davies

I reckon I could apply to the government for a care in the community grant for running this place.

That's funny, as sometimes I feel I need a battery of therapists to deal with some of the people on it.

Poll: What do you expect from the Charlton game?

I think you'll find a strong core of posters who feel much the same about you, Sunshine, but it never seems to occur to you to do some quiet self-reflection and identify what it is about you that has got us to this point.

You were asking a few days ago if people were doing things with the deliberate intention of making you "crazy". My response to that is the time-honoured observation that "the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results".

Maybe if you took the lead and were a tad more respectful towards others, you would get an unexpectedly pleasant surprise at how willing people would be to engage with you on a similar level.

What a bore you are! I suppose you never speak to influence or persuade. Try to wake up to the fact that we're part of the same species.

If your definition of a "bore" is someone who is respected and loved by colleagues, clients, friends and family and knows how to give that back to others on a consistent basis (to return to one of your themes from a few days ago) then I am proud to be guilty as charged.

If you genuinely want to "persuade" or "Influence" people, perhaps showing some understanding of why people hold the views they do might get you closer to your goal more quickly rather than deliberately provoking or confronting them - unless you actually want to continually get the kind of responses you've been whinging about, of course.

What's wrong with being on your own - all the best people are? I suppose, for a conformist like you, the idea is frightening.

I just like to listen, learn, contribute and enjoy. I can't be just a conformist as I've actually liked a couple of your posts.

You just never seem to be prepared to move your position or admit that you are wrong when virtually every one says you are.

If you took that attitude into the modern game, Danny would still be a top professional. Hopefully the massive team of sports scientists would be there to protect him.

I'm sure the great footballers of yesteryear would have been great in this modern game, as they would have adapted their lifestyle and training to suit the modern demands.

I remember watching a documentary, was it 'Horizon' where they talked to QPR players about improving their abilities through science. I remember Martin Allen happy to embrace new ideas, I'll try and find a link to it on YouTube

I remember watching that, didn’t Allen want to be able to run as fast as Paul Parker?

How do you know? It's just what you want to think in the end. I disagree completely, so you go your way and I'll go mine.

That's the problem though isn't it. You won't go your way and let someone goe theirs. You'll go on and on, arguing your point. Insulting people with each additional post. Feeling the need, to try and show of your perceived intelligence. Then when that doesn't work, your start anew post that just tries to argue a precious point more. People will get annoyed, retaliate with the same tone of reply they get from you and then you will play the victim. It's interesting that you feel the need to try and show how clever you think you are constantly. Sadly you lack emotional intelligence and seem to have a true lack of being able to connect with people. Your words on here constantly alienate yourselves. Many in here disagree with others, and yet don't cause the same level of hostitily. I pity you
