| AFC Bournemouth 22:45 - Oct 3 with 2022 views | Southamptonfan | Sold over 100 million pounds worth of players - 2nd in the PL and looking a fantastic side. That's what you call excellent ownership, making great decisions on managers and recruitment. [Post edited 3 Oct 22:45]

"The wheels will come off." Like they have at Man United. Bournemouth seem too well run to follow in their footsteps. The top six is interesting. The form teams are Bournemouth, Crystal Palace and Sunderland. Crystal Palace have the longest unbeaten run of any team in the top 5 leagues in Europe. It must be fantastic following them nowadays. Recruitment, recruitment, recruitment. [Post edited 3 Oct 23:54]

Meanwhile Phil Parsons says “we can’t compete financially in The Premier League.”

It’s not as though St Mary’s has a capacity three times bigger than Dean Court ( or whatever they call it nowadays ) though is it Mr Parsons ? Me thinks he would perhaps have been better suited to selling vacuum cleaners ?

Shows the lack of ambition from these owners.

| AFC Bournemouth on 15:05 - Oct 4 with 1313 views | SonicBoom | Bournemouth are doing well as did for several years. Like Brighton. But like us, they sell then they rely on finding nuggets that turn into the next stars. I don't think there is a team that can sustain that model for more than 3 or 4 years. Bournemouth sold 3 or 4 at the end of last season, more will leave this season. Sooner or later they will sink back down. Even if for no other reason than the big boys will cherry pick them. | | | |

They won again today. A quarter of the way through the season, and the top 3 are Arsenal, Bournemouth and Sunderland. [Post edited 26 Oct 16:40]

Amazing story. If they finish in top 3 it will be the story of the season.
| AFC Bournemouth on 18:02 - Oct 26 with 305 views | 1885_SFC | I watched their game today against Forest. They were (and are) bloody good. Meanwhile, we watch on in envy as a well-run club with a good manager who are exciting to watch show us how it's done... | |
