The next two games are huge. Both winnable and if we win both, we’re in and around the playoff places, games like today and Leicester get forgotten and he’s going a good job.
Anything less than four points, particularly if we play like we did today, and he comes under more scrutiny.

Two points to consider here.
1. If we win 2. How we win
It’s a big ‘if’ but we should be looking for 6 points.

Sheehan can only work with what he has got. It’s probable that the recruitment people haven’t brought in what was needed.
is this a wind up?
Surely Galbraith is an adequete replacement for O Brien who made a huge difference last season. Yalcouye and Inooussa are extra to what we had last season and Burgess is an upgrade on Darling. We appear ro be playing in a totally different way to how Sheehan has us playing under his tenure as caretaker

Burgess distribution is poor. A lot of stray passes most games. Galbraith decent, debatable whether as good as O’Brien was last year, but a very good player who will keep improving. Time will tell whether this squad is good enough. Good enough for me means 70 - 80 points. Not just average going through the motions. The next 2 home games are crucial. We need 2 top performances and 6 points.
Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

‘Squad’ is the key word there
Last season we had two centre backs with Naughton and Parker the only cover for the back four
Three central midfielders with Allen who was often injured and couldn’t play 90 minutes and Cooper who is now surplus to requirements covering them
Vipotnik and Cullen up front when Vipotnik wasn’t able to get into games
You can argue Darling v Burgess either way. You can’t argue our back four options then v now. Same applies to midfield and even attack.

Harry last season is heads and shoulders above Burgess. I agree with Builthy here.
I don’t see a confident player with the ball at his feet at all. Least of all running with the ball and creating chances.
Yes you can argue Darling v Burgess and you can also argue O’Brien v Galbraith.
Any talk of us not having a better squad or a better starting eleven than last season is crazy. Even If you ignore Vipotnik being a different player (apart from yesterday).
For whatever reason, be it self-belief, Darren O’Dea, having to integrate too many players or anything else, Sheehan had a weaker squad and did better last season. It’s why there was such a clamour to appoint him.

It could be then it’s far too soon to judge him this season or he doesn’t make the right team selections ? I see no reason why Yalcouye doesn’t start with Galbraith. Widell has been reduced to the bench when he was a Swedish international as a result of being a Swans player albeit on loan. Inoussa I see issues with as his position is very much a confidence player due to what he does. Unfortunately as it stands Idah doesn’t fill me with inspiration, he isn’t challenging or trying to make his own chances, even Yalcouye did that yesterday. Idah is a very laboured and slow individual.
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

That’s the conundrum. Is it too soon to judge him?
For me, that depends on ambition. He’s a safe pair of hands for sure. He’s not going to go on a 10 game winless run.
To challenge higher up though, you either need to be playing differently to other teams or you need better players than them. Organised, but run of the mill football without creativity through the middle isn’t going to do it.
I think he’s too cautious to trust Yalcouye. He may break through the lines or steal possession high up the pitch, but he’s also likely to lose it cheaply in dangerous areas. Possibly the same reason Stamenic has the reigns on.
Not sure on Idah. Early to judge, but so far he looks like the type of striker you throw on alongside a #9 when you’re chasing the game. I think he’ll start games in this busy run we’ve got coming up.

For me Key and Ronald are at this minute, a waste of the shirt, albeit that Ronald has scored a few. He was completely anonymous yesterday. Key was a liability and has to be rested. Plus Inoussa looked slow of thought and deed. When he tried to knock it past Woods and use his pace, he didn’t seem to put 100% effort interceptions it,then Woods cleared it easily. Too many so called good players appear to have gone backwards under Sheehan’s watch. Worried of Dunvant.
