Superb in Annie Hall and for sure one of the greats, but probably contreversially i didn't really like her character Fay or her acting in Godfather.

Totally with you on this - I really disliked her character and role in the Godfather, but she delivered it extremely well. No doubt the mark of a true actor.
Thoroughly enjoyed her other roles in various films - need to revisit Annie Hall again....
