He had asked for 5 years but the magistrate wanted a more severe punishment so reduced it to 3

It was arguably the sh*ttest pitch invasion i've ever seen, he basically got halfway down the pitch with no resistance, could've made a vault for the skates but instead stopped and held his hands in the air. Completely embarrassing

I know the lad, he really regrets what he did, and feared he would get a longer ban He wasn’t on anything stronger than a few beers by the way [Post edited 15 Oct 13:57]

| Pitch invader on 13:56 - Oct 15 with 1653 views | 1885_SFC | "Other offences related to this game include Kane Green, 28, of Magdalen Road, Portsmouth, who was charged with fraud by false representation and for going onto the playing area at a football match after he allegedly claimed to be a steward. He is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates' Court on November 11. A second man has also been summoned to court to face a charge of fraud by false representation and for going onto the playing area at a football match after also allegedly claiming to be a steward. The 31-year-old has received a postal requisition and is due to appear in Southampton Magistrates’ Court on November 11." What about the 11 fraudulent Saints players out on the pitch that day - claiming to be a football team? | |

| Pitch invader on 14:46 - Oct 15 with 1579 views | saint901 | I worked with a guy who was privately educated, good university, very supportive and high achieving family, and who had the intelligence, connections and ambition to be a stockbroker (when such beasts existed). He was (probably still is) a QPR fan. He went to Newcastle for a match and was having a beer pre kick off. A fracas exploded around him (he swears the first he knew was when a glass missed him by inches). The police waded in, arrested everybody with a QPR shirt or scarf. He ended with a missed last train home and a police caution for affray. He had to disclose that police caution on applications to be financially regulated as there was no expiry. He never became a high earning stockbroker or indeed hold any other position in the financial world other than a salesperson. | | | |

I miss the days of attractive women running on to the pitch with their knockers out.

Have to agree it was embarrassing, when he realised he could actually get to the Skates started slowing down. Much to their amusement. Not sure the security team should get much praise as he could have got a lot further if he hadn’t stopped . Not sure what goes on in people’s head as it’s obvious a ban would come. Whatever he had he should stop taking or drinking it.

I know the Dad too, he jumped over the fence on side of road near Northam bridge to try and confront Pompey fans before Fa Cup game and got bitten by Police dog and trousers ripped off below the knee, met him on train and told about it all on way back from game that night He only got charged and banned because he tried to get compensation from Police for getting bitten, and when they looked at video evidence decided to charge him, he still went to games until he was banned as I recall Agree re Dan, never been in trouble b4 as far as I can recall

He tried to get compensation from the Police, you say? After jumping over a bridge to confront Pompey fans? I'm guessing the compensation claim didn't succeed.......
