Agree

At points over the last few years the hate towards our owners has been crazy. Considering the state of play, they are extremely patient when no one could have blamed them for walking away.

Always be grateful for what we have as its often better the devil you know.

Can they drop out of the league / football setup altogether? What are the next steps now?

Would benefit us if they are kicked out, means we didn't drop points there.

My best mate is a Wednesday supporter. Poor fella.

At least they'll get a rid of Chansiri. A necessary evil for them.

The Owls are bottom of the Championship and a points deduction will leave them 15 points adrift of safety.
Automatic 12 points deduction.

Great shame and historic club. Sadly remembered for one of the worst tragedies in football at their great stadium. Seriously though, this should not be happening.

Gross mismanagement bordering on criminal...

I'll always be grateful for them pushing this club into nearly half a billion pounds of debt / damage.

Yes, by rights, we should be extinct now and Ruben has kept us afloat but never forget that not once but twice Bungle had the chance to set this club up for generations to come. Instead he padded out the retirement funds of some absolutely drek players.

As for Cheff Weds.... they'll be back but hopefully not for a long old time.
I've no time for either of the Sheffield clubs down to purely personal reasons and experiences.

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

He was by no means the first owner to get drunk on the heady wine of supposed Premier League glory and there have been plenty more since.

As debated on here countless times over the last decade, that's they way the football pyramid works and- as we're seeing currently roll out with the FA's attempts to delay facing the Manchester City situation for as long as possible in the hope that it will somehow magically disappear -will continue to do so until eternity.

As always, it s the fans I feel sympathy for. The owner should have sold up.

And yes, the QPR owners know little about running the club, but at least they care and are funding it. It’s better to have such owners instead.

Does 'Bungle' still have a share in this club?

I wasn't aware of that

I am talking about the last few years not the actions 10 years ago - I am talking about millions being pumped in just to keep us afloat months after months. If it were you, at what point would you walk away - when it is an ungrateful fanbase surely

I'm grateful for a day out at Wembley but if you'd offered me a defeat in the semi's, CandleFace going and stability and development of the club I would have taken it (with hindsight!!)

Fair fcuks to Ruben for sticking around.... is he too far in to back out?

What I will conceed is that Chansiri appears to be a total lunatic and a spiteful one at that.
There is no end game from him here that I can see apart from selling the ground (which should be protected by a Covenant - as should all grounds IMHO).
It seems he threw cash at it, crashed, burned and now he's looking to destroy a club.

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

Agreed

Although I think the spite has been almost a direct result from the hate (rightly so some may say) directed towards him from the fanbase. Lets be honest, when he was pumping money in I'm willing to bet none of said fanbase was moaning then

Ron Atkinson started the rot when he narrowed their pitch, they've not been decent since. ( I think it was big Ron) I feel for them it could easily be us.

the deduction could increase as they have history of not paying players, bills, transfer embargoes etc
so much for tests on owners, i hate the EFL and FA the lot are dodgy imo.
as much as i dislike that club, the fans suffer and not their fault.
the ground needs major work, one stand condemned? no safety licence?
one down of three then?

I think that's the one positive - it will be years of pain but then they can come back - if he stayed nothing good was coming from it.

Not sure what happens with the ground though as I think he owns it -and he seems spiteful, so that could get messy.

I guess the other thing that is often forgotten is all the small businesses owed money that now won't get paid (or hardly) that may go bust or have serious financial problems, and the poor staff of course.

Poll: Will we stay up?

Something has got to be done about player salaries. They, IMO, are the biggest thing killing the game. Stadiums falling apart, regular staff getting laid off, contractors not paid, etc etc just so the club can go and sign some cnt on stupid money who probably then phones it in the moment the ink is dry.

Yes, there are dodgy owners but there are good owners too who just can't cope under the pressure of player (agent) wage demands.

As much as i love football, no one 'deserves' £10,000 a week (ave. Championship salary) for kicking a football around.

Don't give me this "it's a short career' bollox either. Injuries are part and parcel of any sport. My missus (ex Int'l gymnast) retired at just 17 after she had a double-fracture in her arm. 12+ years down the drain.

'Seats spelling out Chansiri's name in the North Stand at Hillsborough were removed on Friday afternoon.'

Today's fate was set the day those seats were installed by a raging narcissist on an ego trip.

The most disgraceful thing on the whole admin scenario is exactly that and... unbelieveably... St Johns Ambulance don't get paid.

Stadium is now in the hands of the administrators according to some bloke on talksport which is a good thing for the future of the club.

Pal of mine is Wednesday so I hope they come back strong. (but not too strong)

Dont know why we bother. .... but we do!
