Who next for the hot seat? 17:30 - Oct 25 with 1670 viewsSaints76ER

With a manager who appears well out of their depth, then the clamour is for Will Still to be fired.

So who might be next?
Looking at managers currently out of work then few have Championship experience. We are at risk of being relegated to L1 so not attractive for a ‘name’ like Gerrard.

Would the natives be happy with Ralph back, or a Gary O’Neil?

Who do you think would turn round our season?

This is a tough league and you need a tough manager to get out of it - not someone wet behind their ears still.

Will Still is part of the problem - every bit as much as Sport Republic are.

Until they all fook off out of our club, we will only keep heading in one direction.

Proven at this level is Gary O’Neil. If you can forget the Pompey connections. Or Lallana with Fonte to come in. Anyone who has experience not on a play station.

All the while we've got SR running us, it'll be some unknown from abroad or somebody doing just about okay in L1 currently.

The best in Europe ( that's what he told us).
But credit to him he's doing a decent job at Charlton.

Sam Allardyce for me. The players need a boot up their backsides and he won't take any shit from them. We need a stong authoritarian figure, who will keep the defence tight and actually get a decent big man up front.

I don't give a damn that the football won't involve nice possession football. We are not Xavi/Iniesta's Barca team, just get it down the wings and attack the box!

Big Sam would terrify the players unfortunately he would terrify the owners as well.

Halley's Comet is due next in 2061, with its closest approach to the Sun expected in July 2061. It last appeared in 1986 and orbits the Sun approximately every 75-76 years, making its return to the inner solar system a once-in-a-lifetime event for most people.

Are you prepared to wait until 2061 for a new Manager? We'll be in the National League.

I know all of that but I very much doubt if the owners will remain in business for another five years before finding a mug to buy whatever is left after the assets have been stripped to the bone. It is how venture capitalists work. My last employers have been sold by their American rapists to another one after everything good has been ruthlessly destroyed by greedy incompetence.

Michael Carrick would be an excellent replacement. Championship experience as a manager with Boro and also managed Manchester United in a caretaker role. He won titles and cups as a captain of Alex Ferguson's Man United as a player. Vast experience of playing in the premier league. He played for England too. He's 44, lots of experience but plenty more years ahead. A decent guy. He's 5 to 1 on to replace Still.
