Jack Rodwell and Ross McCormack. No hesitation.

It's a shame that Spurs are letting go of Phoenix Patterson, but I'm sure he'll appear again.

If Defoe wanted a last season in London on reduced wages then I think that would be a good little signing for us

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

Unless they have become Samaritans in the last three months and are happy to take vastly reduced wages, we won't be signing any of them.

If we do go after any of these it is likely to be the ones that few of us have heard of.

Rushian Marcus Amori Hepburn-Murphy.

Is that one player or are Aston Villa doing ‘complete 5-a-side team’ special offers?

Don’t think too many premiership players would accept our current wage ceiling.
Players released from championship clubs include
Niclas Elasson 24 awinger at Bristol C terrorised us a year ago.
Ashley Williams 35 CB at Bristol C
George Friend 32 LB/CB at Boro
Chey Dunkley 28 C/B at Wigan..broke his leg in feb 20
Warbs said he needs some more experienced players next season

with the caveat that i know he would need to quarter his wage demands and that there's probably bigger, better and higher paying offers out there, but i'd take James Chester from Villa. only 31, and would be a good experienced head at Centre Back...

Can we not knock it?

He can’t defend though.

Provided he would accept our wages, I think George Friend could be a good addition to our "experienced" players. His attitude has always appeared right to me.

Ashley Williams? No thank you!

Let’s remember the importance of defending.

Phil Jagielka has always struck me as a model professional where ever he has played. If he would come to us for £5-10k I wouldn't be unhappy, especially if Manning holds out on his contract renewal.

The grass is always greener.

Is Luke Garbutt any good?

Adrian Mariappa might be a better/more realistic old head at the back than Chester.

We'd be the perfect place for Jordan Ibe to get his career back on track but he'll have bigger offers.

Andrew Surman - can see Warbs picking up Bournemouth lads every year.

Christie-Davies I think we were after when he left Chelsea.

Never heard of most of those players.
The ones I have heard of are either quite old or on astronomical wages so hopefully we won't be going anywhere near those.
Hopefully we will sign some young players I've never heard of.

Not a released player but I wonder if our annual Spurs youth day car centre will take on Troy Parrott next season? Only 18 but a big fast unit. A season leading the line here if we can't find a few of our own wouldn't be a bad thing. Unlikely to get in a Jose team until he's about 32 and only then if he's sold to Barcelona for £100m and bought back for £200m.

Never knowingly right.

Everyone will be after him but highly likely we'll throw our hat in the ring you'd imagine.

We might have a chance of Parrott on loan if Spuds want Eze or BOS

It's not at all a realistic way to evaluate a player, but what I know about him is that he becomes absolutely world class in every FM save, so why not bring him in. Problem is that every club in the Championship will be in for him too.
