I've no idea as to what due diligence was undertaken by the yanks legal team but they were kept in the dark regarding the share holders agreement.
How else do you think they were going to make money after spending nearly £70m on buying the club?

Turnover for the first Championship season was £68.2m of which £51.6m was media which includes the parachute payment. I don't think the exact value is listed separately. The first year payment is 55% of what we would have received the year before. Without it we'd have been Donald ducked.
The final wage bill for the first Championship season was £48.9m down from £92.6 the previous season, so yes there was a large reduction in line with our drop in income (£68.2m down from £126.8m). |
The you've got the automatic reduction in the next year's parachute payments to approx £30m, so that's another £20m gone from income that we've got to find or cut.

Jenkins made the decision to fire Guidolin and appoint the American - IMO an even more shameful act than sacking Laudrup to promote Monk.

That’s incorrect
Jenkins alone did not make the decision to appoint Bradley instead of Guidolin. The American owners wanted it to happen it seems and Jenkins went along with it. Big difference. I’d doubt that Jenkins knew of Bradley or had even heard of him. |  |

Unfortunately that is very relevant, you don't skip due process based on an assumption. For all they know the trust could have sourced a wealthy backer.
All sides don't depute that the sale was too far in for the trust to do anything. And the trust did technically exercise their rights as best they could without taking formal action by engaging with the Americans. As we know those negotiations weren't productive and here we are. |  |

I've got no idea as to what is in the SHA but that's not the point. The point is the existence or not of a SHA, wether the yanks were informed of it or were the Trust consulted prior to the sale. Is it true that Jenkins asked the trust to sign a legal document stating that no SHA existed? | | | |

When clubs owed us big future instalments (like Gylfi to Spurs, Ayew to West Ham) we were selling them to banks for quick cash to do more business. So the balance kept shifting with nothing saved to pay the previous purchases. Speculate to accumulate, as they say. Only the speculation was poor and down we went. | | | |

Got the vision to play the kind of passes other players in the squad can't do. In terms of techical ability he's more than decent.
He is lightweight and probably not best suited to playing in the kind of midfield we had today. Think you'd have to have one of Fulton or Smith in there too. He's a #10 in front of a strong midfield or nothing. | |

According to Pearlman the Americans had absolutely no say in the actions of Jenkins over Guidolin and Bradley. Nor did they intefere when Bradley was sacked and we could find a manager for love nor money until Clement was brought in.
I believe him as the Americans have been hands off - something the people who slag them off keep pointing out.
