My Mum 16:10 - Jan 22 with 7827 viewsPinnerPaul

Sadly my Mum passed away yesterday.

Not unexpected as she had been in decline for several months..

She had a long and happy life (would have been 88 next month) and that's all of us can ask for.

As a 62 year old I realise I was lucky to have for so long.

From a QPR supporting family she married another mad QPR fan and she and my Dad were very happy.

Rather apt that she passed away around the time we scored yesterday and that I found out while in W12. I saw her last on Thursday.

She was always asking me about "the Rangers" and my refereeing, so I will continue on here, even though I might not get quite so worked up as usual in the next few days if anyone starts talking nonsense about the laws!

My deepest condolences. She sounded like a lovely person and it is beautiful that she supported and was passionate about the R's. I hope in time you are able to think back on all those moments and do her proud. Best wishes.

Sorry to hear your news mate It struck a chord with me as we are of similar vintage and I lost my Mum 7 years ago- she would also be 88 now like your Mum . At times like this it’s comforting to know there is a QPR ‘ family’ where we can support one another.

Sorry to hear about that Paul, my mum is nearly 90 and from a Spurs supporting family, luckily she’s no interest in football at all!

So sorry Paul, I’m 60 and my mum still tells me off, I love it and would miss it.
I am fairly new to LFW ( 2 years) and I love the Rangers family, our hearts are in the right place. That’s what my dad and grandad always said….. Andy
