Sit on my @rse waiting to be picked up and driven to Redbridge for weekend games, then central line to Oxford Circus and a nice stroll to hit the white horse about 1pm.
Midweek games involves an early train to Liverpool st and then a walk from there to be in the same pub by 5pm.

Two journey options share driving with a mate from Northampton, if he does not go then usually get the train from Northampton to Euston. If I don't drive or I come down by train meet another mate before the game for beers at the Richmond.

Drive Kingston to Kew. Train Kew to Hammersmith, then Hammersmith to Shepards Bush Market.

1 hour door to door if trains are OK.

South West train to Clapham Junction, Mildmay to Shepherds Bush then a decision on pub of the week for daytime games or restaurant of the week for night games.

£5.80 return from deepest Surrey so can’t complain.

Lots of options from NW2.

Jubilee Line to Kilburn then Overland to the Bush. Or whatever nonsense the train's called now.

Or I walk a bit to get a 52 to Ladbroke Grove then take the tube to Wood Lane if I'm cutting it fine or Shepherds Bush Green if I've got time to have a meet up in the Defectors.

Or just Lime Bike it to Ladbroke Grove and then Wood Lane/SB Market.

My favourite, if I've got the time, is walk the three miles to Ladbroke Grove and do the same in reverse. Only manage that once a season.

£5.80 !!!
How are you managing that?
Even with a Network Railcard it's costing me double that for the same journey.

Coming from SE London it's a short drive to the station and then three trains. Takes around 1.5 hours but my train travel is free.

Train from SE London to Charing Cross > Northern Line to TCR > Central Line to either Shepherds Bush or White City, depending on time.

If I have time after the game I walk back to Charing Cross.

I think the Bakerloo line from CX to Oxford Circus to get onto the Central line is a little quicker.

Overground to Shepherds Bush.
10 minute walk to the Weld.
Can get a train at 12 and be in the Weld before 1pm.
At zero cost now due to being an old sod

Haha very good.

Epsom. My senior railcard gets it down to £5.80 or at least it was until yesterday when Ghengis pushed it up to £6.10.
