IF, and only IF we get to the final, as both the FA trophy and the other FA thing thats going on ( not the FA CUP) are played on the same day, how will the crowd/gate reciepts be split?

Not sure how the crowd will be split, but I'm sure Wembley can be divided into four suitable sections whoever gets there, given its capacity.
I believe the match ticket entitles fans to watch both games, if they want to, so the takings will most likely go four ways (less FA monies).
And it's called the FA Vase. Their semi-finals are two-legged, the first legs being played yesterday. AFC Whyteleafe and Whitstable Town both hold two goal leads going into the second legs.

There are about 500 seats still available in the mainstand and Pearl Street. The mainstand is close to being sold out. I guess the club will need to open further blocks of Pearl Street soon. Spennymoor has sold about 1000 seats. Their supporters club has booked out 6 coaches and the club a further couple. They are leaving at c 9.30am and camping at the cricket ground on arrival. Would be nice to get a good gate and atmosphere. I see that Aldersot v Woking is almost sold out in the other semi.

No surprise. Local derby, lots of rivalry, hatred and history between them and a much smaller, heavily segregated capacity.

Hopefully scenes like this on Saturday. No penalties please.
A real possibility of that happening. Practice penalties on Friday and be prepared. Win on Saturday and irrespective of what happens in the race for the play offs i think McNulty will have done enough to deserve another stint next year. A final at Wembley will be enough for me and I'm not his biggest fan to be honest. I do think we would have to cock up big time to miss out on the play offs though, we're in a great position with two games in hand and games running out.
I can see that the club has released block V seats in Pearl Street now so there are another 200 seats available. There are just 20 or so left in the mainstand. Get buying.....

I'm with you on much of what you advocate there TS......get this semi final done and dusted (agree on pens practice, mindful of Stockton when we were gone! !) and get the coaches booked to Wembley Way.Nice one
Also agree on the Play-Offs, don't think we are capable of winning after the York dicking ,but would like Dale to be flirting around and hopefully cause an upset or two and make a bit of cash and prolong the season......that would hold us in good stead for a better crack next season. Not a big fan of McNulty either,he's a bit toooo Scouse for me,a bit like SoftLad.
Get that Barlow guy signed up quick...there will be money bags Clubs watching. Could be an earner for Dale.

McNulty is from Runcorn in Cheshire.

I have to disagree with some of that. I think we have a decent chance of winning the play offs should we secure a place. The team McNulty selected against York was a poor one, it was mentioned amongst fans before a ball was kicked. The performance was one of the worst of the season and just like the Barnet game the white flag of surrender was raised well before the final whistle, something we've never been used to seeing as Dale fans, the towel thrown in. York fans commented that their performance came out of the blue, one of the best of their season. So the York game was a combination of two extremes and the likelihood is it won't happen next time we play them. Hopefully we would then have a much stronger team on the pitch.
The Play Off games are a different dynamic and i think there's no reason why we can't win them. I'm not sure the manager does though and that's the disappointment, he's in the same tent as you when it comes to playing York. Their form had been bang average prior to playing us and they had come off a 3-1 defeat a few days earlier. I think the toughest game we could have in the play offs would be FGR away and not York. We would be underdogs so just attack the play offs with relish and on the front foot, anything can happen and if we lose we lose. It will be York and FGR who carry the weight of expectation on their shoulders, see how they perform then especially against opponents who will already be full of confidence after playing and winning in earlier play off games.

So basically you’ve got it in for the manager of our club because of his accent and not how he performs in his role?
You’ve posted some shite over the years but that tops it all.
You could probably pick a team of eleven scousers from the Coleman era alone although some of them weren’t the most memorable….. Joe Rafferty is perhaps the standout but not George Donnelly!
Yeah, but what they sounded like was far more important.
Its not the greatest of accents though to be fair. We're blessed. McNultys managerial prowess won't be influenced by his accent, neither was Colemans or Danny Begaras.
