CRICKET on 17:44 - Jun 25 by D_Alien | Anderson finally gets the breakthrough after an eighth wicket partnership of 182 - probably too late now. Not bowled since first thing this morning. Why wait till now? |
Blew it !!! Although it was a great innings by their number 8, we shouldn't be letting them put together a 180 partnership so easily. He clobbered us all over the shop and his partner dropped anchor. Deffo not getting second spot now IMO. No wins out of 8 not good enough.

It's a lovely day today (Monday) and there's a one day International cricket match taking place at Littleborough CC which starts at 12pm....England over 60s v Australia over 60s. Bar and food available all day and it's free entry for everybody. A day spent in Littleborough is never wasted 🙂

Opening bat with Boycott unless Gooch tries to pull rank.
CRICKET on 19:19 - Jul 1 with 2060 views | D_Alien | So Lancs go into another final day with victory on the cards 7 wickets required, whilst Derbyshire require an unlikely 374 runs and the weather looking decent at Chesterfield tomorrow Maybe this time?

Given the Zimbabwean response (currently 88-6) he would've been justified in batting on, on the grounds of only having to bat once, which seems likely anyway Or perhaps, he'd have felt guilty about taking the record against a nation that's barely at the level of test match cricket

It would have been Day 5 if he’d got to 367.

Aussie captain Mark Taylor declared once he equalled Don Bradman’s Australian record 334 v Pakistan in 1998.
CRICKET on 20:18 - Jul 11 with 939 views | EllDale | Lancs currently getting a caning from Yorkshire at OT. Jonny Bairstow just out for 116 including 10 sixes. Yorkshire currently 220/2 with two overs remaining.
CRICKET on 00:22 - Jul 12 with 852 views | Daley_Lama | The bowling tonight was shocking. The bowling on Weds was shocking. Hartley should not have been bowled ahead of Green or Wells. No variation and Bairstow took him to pieces. Wood however is my biggest gripe. When he bowls full he is a nightmare for batters When he bowls short in the power play the slightest top edge, flick, anything goes for boundaries. It’s been the same all season, he is the epitome of a fast bowler who won’t learn. Salt dropped Bairstow dolly catch Wood dropped Luxton dolly catch Wood dropped Bairstow - tough catch With ‘come and hit me’ bowling and awful fielding, it was only a triple wicket final over from Green to keep it below 250. Buttler showed glimpses of getting into knick tonight but still his timinglooks off Salt looks in decent knick even though didn’t score big tonight Desperately miss Livingstone.
