Agree, that pass & goal was coming for 5 minutes as with no Field we were not pressing the ball and they were playing forwards & sideways till that sublime pass and quick movement from their West Ham loanee opened us up.
Wouldn't criticise Morrison as it was a quality pass, in the same way Edwards back pass nearly undone us due to their pacy attacker. | | | |

My take on Gubbins the first time I saw him in a youth game is that he didn't like to tackle. Pass, intercept, head...all very good. But tackling...not so much.

Interesting to see what happens this summer at CB.
Cook has played enough games to be entitled to another year but word around Xmas was that he was sick of it all and ready to retire this summer.
As said previously, Southampton have a horribly bloated squad that will need extensive surgery this summer so there is a good chance Edwards will be available again if we can offer him gametime every week. | | | |

Agree, good leap & dominant in the air for the not the tallest Centre Half, good positioning, tackling and reading of the game, also not hampered by say Dickie's crucial lack of pace,
Steve Clarke was at the game yesterday (as was Kevin Keen, maybe monitoring their West Ham loanee?), think Bristol City have a young player eligible for Scotland but would'nt be surprised if Clarke was their to watch Morrison as would be on his radar after his 4 years at Bayern Munich. | | | |
