Swansea City v Oxford United : Match day thread on 14:33 - May 3 with 2216 views | union_jack | I know it’s the last game of the season and it doesn’t really matter but I’m absolutely fuming with conceding that 3rd goal. We’ve given so many of those types of goals away this season it’s beyond coincidence. No excuses, we gave that game away. I hope Sheehan doesn’t just say “never mind” to the players because this lack of concentration needs to be eradicated from the players) psyche. On a lighter note, Cardiff bottom and Luton down so not all bad😁

The club by the two retirements created a distraction. Sheehan also took of player to give Parker and Lloyd run outs. Under normal circumstances this would not have been allowed to happen.

I was remembering that today with those 3 conceded goals. We need some serious scouting if Darling is off.

Just watched the goals. He’s been great for us, but Vig should have done better on both goals.

Not the way to end a torrid season in front of the biggest crowd Three superb goals undone by appalling sloth Nothing worse than screwing both up and we did it three times Depends of people are bothered about not winning really Unforgivable and Sheehan will be fuming Players should feel shamed

I thought the first goal by Oxford was an excellent strike, the second was a scramble in the area and I thought could have been a foul on the keeper. The third goal was just simply a give away. Edge of the seat game and I enjoyed it.
Swansea City v Oxford United : Match day thread on 17:03 - May 3 with 1746 views | Whiterockin | Thoughts on today. Enjoyed the game in the sun, reminded me of the old home internationals weather. We played some nice football at times but gave away goals with silly mistakes. We scored a couple of screamers getting people out of their seats, this will bring the supporters back. I thought O'brien had his worst game for us and Delcroix was pretty poor. During the after match walk around Darling had his leg heavily strapped and was limping, how bad is his injury? I can't help feeling if we needed to win we would have. A big crowd with an excellent atmosphere, they will be back.
Swansea City v Oxford United : Match day thread on 18:07 - May 3 with 1600 views | RichardO | Think we tried to play a little more possession football in our third today, Oxford had nothing to lose so committed men forward and we didn't clear the lines as we should have, all for trying to try and keep the ball but doing it badly in our half led to Oxford having a number of chances although if we had a proven finisher the game would have been out of Oxford'. Three goals conceded a point that should have been three, seasons gone, now looking forward to the next one.

I think Vip showed today he is not a Championship striker. Had a couple of gilt edge chances . Enjoyed the game it didnt always feel like a typical end of season nothing to play for event dissapointed we conceded 3 goals especially the last one cant believe O Brien made that mistake but I agree with Richard O too much playong around in out own half. Looking forward to next season though and it was great to have the ground full.

I want so much that VIP comes good but today showed he really hasn't got it Some nice crosses and a decent striker would have had a field day He has a big shot but anticipation and special awareness is zero Obrien has been steady BUT today it put doubt on my mind that we should row boat out for him He is pretty shite in front of goal as was the chap he replaced Disappointing end to a bizarre season We have to be demanding to move on , if we have any ambition which I read we have Oxford were dogged though and have , in their own way, been outstanding

Too many people spent too long blaming Luke Williams for Vipotnik not being good enough. I don’t know if he has potential or not, he’s got some great attributes, but he just can’t read play or make the right run. I’m honestly not sure if that’s coachable or innate. If they think they can coach that into him, he’s worth persevering with. If not, doesn’t matter how hard he can shoot or how well he link play, the basics just aren’t there. It’s pleasing that this weeks transfer rumours, plus Widdel for creativity, seem to suggest we are looking to overhaul our attack.

Sitting opposite Oxford second goal definitely a foul on Vig he was taken out. A shout out for the Oxford fans who helped make it a great atmosphere

Anyway on another note, Cullen scored with a cracking diving header, not bad for a player who is scared and to timid to head the ball

I agree on all that, but I thought Franco played within himself as well, he didn't look like the player he's been fatigue perhaps, anyway season is over and it has turned out better than we expected, thanks to Sheez and his team, long may it continue.

We let a player free on our left to run into the box with no one closing him down, which give him an easy finish, Tymon is a very decent player, but we need to make sure we are covered in that area when he hasn't got back, how we achieve that is another matter though
