Word is that he hasn't. test squad being announced tomorrow so it's just rumours for now.
So long as Farrell picks a side that matches or betters the Australians, that’s fine with me. Curry is a class act who is very experienced and well versed in the dark arts which will be very important in this tour. Got a feeling we’ll struggle in the first test but will get better in tests 2 and 3.

Good analysis, pretty convincing.
Very good analysis to be fair BUT you know what they say about statistics.
Farrell is looking for experience here which Curry has in spades over Morgan. Jac’s time will come, maybe not this tour but it will in the future no doubt. This is great experience for him and he may be a future captain on a tour.

Rugby is more attritional than football, stats on missed tackles, line breaks and metres gained by forwards are pretty good indicators of performance.

Of course, I’m not saying they don’t count at all. And Jac’s stats are amazing. But the intangibles are important too with experience counting towards those which will be important in softening the Aussies up in the first test. Though as I’ve said, I think Oz may just not edge it. Hope I’m wrong.

Jac has been the standout 7 all tour, Curry hasn't, was told of a rumour that Jac is suffering from a knock, but there's nothing mentioned in this article.

Whilst agreeing with you re Jac being the stand out player, the coach picks the team and its he who carries the pan if it does not Work does he not? Gatland did it dropping ODriscoll and bringing in Davies, its a 3 game series and I think the aussies will get stronger History will be made tomorrow first time since goodness nows when not a single welshman involved that shows where we are in world rugby and unless the people at the top dont pull their fingers out not only will we be wooden spoonists for the forseable future but the game will be dead in Wales very soon, sorry to say, in the mean time we have to suck it as they say

Anyone who thinks there can be a quick fix is delusional, this mess is going to take 5-6 years to turnaround. We will probably be looking at the under 18s to be the next wave with the current 24/25 year olds being the experience. Club loyalties need to be put on the back burner and there needs to be a joint effort from all the clubs with no exceptions, particularly the WRU and Cardiff.

Australia are quite poor I would be surprised if the Lions do not comfortability turn them over, it would of course be a different matter if it were the South Africans or the All Blacks as I think this current Lions squad would be the ones getting comfortability turned over against either of those two.

They should win all three and very comfortably, Tom Curry used to be an excellent back rower, but he's far from that these days and for Jac not even to be on the bench is scandalous and to cap it off you got Farrell further embarrassing himself in saying that's he gutted that the standout backrower all tour so far isn't even in the squad for the game.

All Blacks v France on Sky sports now 3rd Test France 7-0 up decent start by France, Wales are a million miles for the standard being shown by these two unfortunately.

Great game, proper rugby chess match, All Blacks keeping it tight is a change from their normal flair game, they took France on up front and it worked for the most part, the only really opened up in those last 10-15mins, entaining game though, France looked like running away with the game in the first 30 mins of the game, but typically the AB's got that all important try right on half time.
Great to see Gats looking so well the strain he was under as Wales head coach clearly took its toll, he's another Rugby man with exceptional experience whose advice he give to the WRU wasn't listened to.

H/T ...
Aus 5 v 17 Lions
We should be further ahead now.
I’m clearly wrong but I thought the disallowed try was fine. He wasn’t released in the tackle, he didn’t make it therefore Jones had the right to carry on.
Also, we were awarded a penalty. Play was allowed to go on and very shortly we knocked on but didn’t come back for the pen. Maybe I missed something?
Keep this up and it should be comfortable but Australia don’t lie down and take things easily so I’m expecting more from them.
