Perfectly put. Never in a million years a pen and wouldn’t have been looked at if the Aussie hadn’t thrown himself to the ground. In dark times, Jac Morgan is a national treasure 👏

Was it a pen under modern rules, this is rugby 2025 not 1975, if it was upto me try all day long but was it a shoulder charge with no arms ?

British & Irish Lions 2025 on 14:52 - Jul 28 with 1288 views | Togg | The Lions are an historic institution and may they long continue. To play in front of 90,000 people in a mostly Rugby League country will higher the profile of Rugby. Rugby Australia have always had terrific players but they need to broaden the game in Oz. It needs to come away from the school system and get more ordinary kids involved. Theres enough talent in Australia for both sports. It's amazing how close they came to the Lions considering how awful they were in the World Cup. They definitely have some top players and in a far better place than Wales. Under Schmidt they are looking like they could be a force again. Commercially the income gained for Rugby Australia will be huge. That's why the All Black and Boks love the Lions tours. Such a pity that only one Welsh man is involved. Which is a huge indictment on the useless woke WRU. Welsh players always used to shine on Lions tours.

Shame the number one openside for the Lions Curry was not Welsh as Jac would be great cover for him for Wales as well.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/articles/c75465dvkvdo The rugby chief in the above article says "We've got to back our referees and our match officials. And we do. They're making 800-plus decisions under incredible pressure in front of a global audience in a single game," he added. "And they don't get every decision right. But as long as they've gone through the right process and as long as they've got a decision that they can stand behind, then we'll support them." So they (the officials) are under incredible pressure and they don't get every decision right (very telling to say that in relation to this incident) but as long as they've got a decision they can stand behind then we will support them. That is a very very weak statement backing the officials decision, as somebody of a certain vintage that prides themselves on no bias that statement screams we got it wrong but we are still backing the officials.

Dear God🙄 It wasn’t just the referee who made the decision. He was aided by TMO officials who given their job and nationalities should and did not show any bias whatsoever. The decision has been backed up by most rugby aficionados including world class referees in Barnes and Owens. Never mind how much you want to think that the Aussies were robbed of their defeat illegally, and boy do you, it was all fair. Get over it!

Yes I know all that, it's no skin off my nose, it's just I was surprised it was given in 2025 and that statement from the rugby chief is hardly a ringing endorsement of the decision, truth be said, its such a flimsy endorsement that it reads like an excuse.

There was nothing wrong with the clearout, nothing at all, you're just keeping on about something that's none existent, there was NO FOUL PLAY involved in the lead up to that winning try when it was scored.

It won't because another similar tackle will be treated on its on merits and won't be judged on what's gone before, you need to stop now you'll be arguing with yourself next.

I didn't expect him to drop Curry, bit disappointing for Jac though, Lowe has been dropped probably deserved not done much this tour.

This tour will have given Jac a whole load of experience which will make him better for The Os, Wales and Lions in the future. I expect him to be considered as a future Lions captain. This tour is just prep.

Learnt loads and will pass his experience on which will inspire these talented youngsters to crack on with their development. Its a great pity that Tomas Williams has missed out, he's improved massively for me after me not thinking a lot of him, but he's an excellent scrum half now, him moving to gloucester and really worked out for him. I hope they do it. 3-0 be some statement. I read that France have ambitions to play the Lions as well now, to much for the players with their International and Club commitments, IMO
