The GAA on 17:42 - Jul 6 with 1613 views | MrSheen | What a finish! Tipp were dying even before the red card, I can’t remember a single Kilkenny wide in the second half, but that was an amazing comeback. It’s a bit early for this Tipp team to stand up to Cork though, they were exceptional yesterday.

The GAA on 17:15 - Jul 20 with 884 views | MrSheen | Holy Jayzus, they looked dead and buried at half time, what a massacre in the end. That’s one of the great sporting collapses, 0-02 to 3-14 in the second half. It’s a long old drive home, especially avoiding Tipperary.

I was watching last year cheering the mother's county win, a few months after she'd passed away, and what a final that was. But hard to think of a such a swing in a game by an underdog since Paris backhealed Achilles onto defeat.

Yes that goal for Cork after the 2 extra minutes were up before halftime should have been a death blow to Tipp but fair play to them they responded magnificently . Cork hit the woodwork 3 times but overall were miles off their best and once the red card and penalty goal it was done . Poor enough game IMO lots of reckless shooting causing huge wide totals but Tipp really answered the bell in the second half .Congrats a massive turn around in 12 months

It had the look of football a few years back where Tipp put extra men in defence to stop Cork running in behind on goal, but meant they were short handed up front when they won the ball back and were shooting from out wide. Cork had chances closer and more central and could hardly miss in the first half…unless it was just unusually gusty at the Hill end. I thought once Cork were six up at halftime they could sit back and let Tipp come onto them and collect goals on the break. It’s one thing to totally freeze on the big day (cough, cough, Milk Cup), another to get the job more than half done and totally seize up. I’m struggling to think of a bigger implosion in a team sport. Not just to lose it at the death but to get so completely flattened. All Blacks-France 1999? Broncos-Penrith 2023? Headingley 1981? The GAA on 08:12 - Jul 21 with 515 views | HoopinEssex | Coming from Cork background I'm gutted. Looked only one winner when the goal was scored before halftime. Don't think I've seen a worse collapse ever in Hurling. Just kept thinking in the 2nd half don't worry Cork will pick up soon. Just never did. Can't take it away from Tipp. They won well in the end.

AC Milan should never have given Liverpool a sniff in the 2005 CL final. It burns me like the heat from a thousand suns to say it but "well done Tipp" - a superb final.
