OMB is pretty far from terrible. Would be fantastic in a Sheehan team and adds some much needed experience and passion

The fact that he loved his time here, may inspire him to give it a right good old go.

His performance at Ixford was about the worst I’ve ever seen from a player due to not trying. Never set foot here again.

He's too young to be a Wrexham signing. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

The Swans would never go to five million let alone eight I’m afraid. Then his salary on top which is rumoured to be 35k a week. Wrexham can have him, although if their business to date is anything to go by they only have Ryan Hardie in at 600k or so. With squads reporting back today Wrexham have not got off to a flyer despite being connected to half the EFL.

They are about to sign Danny Ward the Welsh keeper although I don't rate him very highly

McBurnies stats. 2019/20 :: 6 goals in 40 games 2020/21 :: 1 goal in 25 games 2021/22 :: 1 goal in 30 games 2022/23 :: 15 goals in 41 games 2023/24 :: 6 goals in 23 games 2024/25 :: 5 goals in 35 games Don't waste any money on him

I have complete confidence in our current recruitment team. If they believe a player is right for us at the right price they will try and get him. If they believe Mcburnie fits that brief we have to trust them, if they don't it's fuss over nothing. So far the recruitment is exciting in my opinion.

Yes indeed. It’s been a very long time since I had faith in the board and recruitment team working together. I genuinely feel upbeat about the coming season. I’ve no doubt the team will take a bit of time to gel but for once they could be a very enjoyable watch. C’mon The Swans!

Here comes the summer transfer rumour thread on 18:00 - Jun 30 with 2110 views | Dr_Winston | I don't think we should sniff at the 6 goals in 21 Prem games for a weak Sheff Utd side either. Probably equivalent to the season that Danny Graham had for us in 11/12.

Here comes the summer transfer rumour thread on 18:27 - Jun 30 with 2008 views | magicdaps10 | If he comes back(McBurnie) then a big play in that will be him wanting too come back, more teams will be able to offer him a bigger wage and more. He will bring experience, desire and someone who should guarantee double figures if he plays regularly. It's a yes from me after time to think but I still feel Vipotnik should be kept as his understudy and to learn off him.

You say that, but they haven't kicked a ball for us yet, like any signings the proof is in the performances so I'm hoping for the very best, but we don't know what we'll get until they play.

Here comes the summer transfer rumour thread on 22:56 - Jun 30 with 1541 views | GVJack | Mcburnie works hard and brings other players into the game well, but I feel we already have a player like that in Cullen. Ok Mcburnie is physically bigger and probably better aerially but he's not a prolific No9. We know what we'd get with him, and unless he hits a real purple patch in front of goal to turn his goal scoring record around then that won't be many goals which you need from your main striker. If the recruitment team think he's the best option then I'll welcome him back with open arms and sing his name from the stand, but in my heart I would love us to go out and unearth another Piroe. It's also worth noting that although he's available on a free, at 29 he wouldn't be seen as an investment with little resale value, so it really wouldn't come back as an investment for the future, so would need to hit the ground running tomorrow successful.
