Has Marti/Team Marti actually confirmed or denied he or his reps spoke to WBA (or anyone)? The fact that, to the best of my knowledge in the fascist regime/progressive cult/going concern that is QPR he's not said a dicky bird is a smoking gun. If he hasn't done anything wrong, contractually speaking, to warrant being put on gardening leave, why isn't he kicking up a fuss and contesting it?
I'd be voting No for the last two reasons if the poll allowed it. Overall, his performance has been more up and down than Christine Keeler's knickers, and he hardly makes a convincing case of commitment to the club. Those evangelically pro-Marti fans on here I've had to reflect back their own delusions to are to generalised cultish hostility and/or abuse have been in denial all along, and now the truth's hitting the Nourry fan those of us with a critical eye in our heads have been proven grimly right. He's basically a prolonged Spanish version of Boil with a seductive patter with the fans! In short, with all the murk the word implies, a professional. I'm an amateur in all things, I go with my heart and gut, and that means at the very least authenticity, not bullshit.

Should begin with a no.
Correct.
Wrote that one wrongly.
Can't seem to be able to edit it though
Maybe think/proofread before you go to the polls! Why 3 (should be 4) 'NO' answers and only one emphatic 'YES', for instance? Can't one say yes with reservations/on balance/through gritted teeth, for instance?

He's still being paid so can't contest it as there is no loss.

I meant morally as much as financially - it's his name out there, isn't it? So you're saying that, as long as he's being paid, he won't (and needn't/shouldn't) care?
Does that mean there's nothting to stop any employer putting anyone on gardening leave, whatever they've done or haven't done? (Answers, please, for posters who actually know something about contract law.)

How many people would complain about a year off on full pay?

If he can't work with Nourry which seems the case now then best for the club that we part ways as Nourry is going nowhere at the moment
If Nourry isn't up to the job (and I suspect that he isn't) then it doesn't matter who is brought in... It will potentially be a series of unsuccessful appointments until Nourry is identified as the root cause and is removed.

I would rather a manager who knows what he's doing in this league than some newbie who has to learn why teams like Cardiff keep scoring corners against us.
And that you cannot play Madsen and Andersen in the same team and so on.
zzzzzzzzzz

There was a time when Curbishley was amongst the favourites for every managerial job going. After a while he was still quoted in the betting but the odds were getting longer and longer until eventually it was a running joke that he was ever in the betting at all.
It's a bit like being a long distance runner or a cyclist in the Tour De France. Once you get dropped by the pack it can be very hard work to get back in the race
Steve Cotterill used to get linked to every job at our level.
Remember him?
No!

Not sure either of those two are claiming job seekers, or having to deliver parcels for Amazon.
I cannot think of many jobs where you can be paid your whole salary just to leave if you are are deemed not to be doing your job properly.
