I'm not sure it is.
First year - (his first year working in football, as far as I know) damn good.
Second year - very poor. And there may be many reasons for that, but two of the possibilities are that his luck from 2023/24 ran out or that he showed very poor judgement in continuing in a previously hands-on role while living abroad.
We'll have to see if this is good news or not. |  |

I interpret it as something usually listed as 'other duties as assigned' here stateside. Which could mean he's really going to be doing medium-term infrastructure projects (doubtful) or justifying a higher salary/reason to actually come back to the motherland (more likely). | | | |
