Yeah I think they should have just said 1) he was consultant before and 2) return full time to his role.
Overseeing performance….yes, that’s what we’d expect if he’s now full time at the club. The middle first 2 paragraphs of Nourry speak are fine but the last paragraph is the issue.
I’ve no idea what “infrastructure projects” are for a football club. “Logistics”….not sure he’s qualified to do that. They need to explain in more detail things like this or even have an interview. Or just leave “logistics” and “infrastructure” out of the update. | | | |

That is a concern but generally speaking don’t we do our deals in July and August, basically not adding costs to the club during May and June when there’s no real income coming in and there’s contracts to run down.

True, but I have decided that last year was so horrendously awful I am going with blind optimism this coming season.
This is based purely on no actual evidence.
I'm putting my fingers in my ears, shutting my eyes and hoping all will be good. The alternative is just getting angry and making my blood pressure go up.
Everything will be absolutely fine and we'll all be looking back in a few months laughing and wondering what all the fuss was about. | |
