Mainly because if no one challenges his gibberish, it eventually becomes accepted.

I completely see where you’re coming from though. He’ll ignore my post and regurgitate the same tripe later on

Levien's biggest errors was failing to hold onto Mr Jenkins and Mr Birch.

I'm glad Levein & Kaplan have gone & under their control we had years of a slow & gradual decline but I can't see how they could be blamed for Birch being poached.
Swansea or Spurs, hmm - not a difficult choice I'd say.

Too many ifs and buts ,who knows if Brighton would have sold him to us,would we have been happy to pay the fee?
But all a lomg time ago now.

Time we moved on stopped looking back this was over 4 seasons ago and looked forwards especially goven this being the best window I think since the days of Luadrup..

It's certainly the most organised summer window we've had since then

Swansea had a manager who had no concern for 18 months s down the line. Gyorkeres was a raw talent and Cooper identified the potential.

I have suggested Coventry city were offered the same deal as loan to buy. Robins saw this potential and managed Viktor and paid the pre arranged £1.5m agreement. I am in little doubt Swansea had the same option..

This mistake cost Swansea Upto £30m. This forum argued that Cooper was not to blame because he was a raw player. All problems related to Swansea were related to Levien not Cooper.

Cooper ran away when the parachutes ended. Had he developed VG properly and fulfilled his contract he would conceivably had a front two of Gyorkeres and Piroe he signed with Scott for £2.5m. (Watson spent that on Kuharevych allegedly).

Andy did some good work for Swansea. Posters will deflect my opinions h by highlight comment I made after an FA cup game where Garrick played better than VG and Cullen.

Cooper sees these player every day not just on a feed onto a laptop once.

No lies for just speculation. I do not have an inside track. Cooper bought bad players who became a burden and some excellent loans.too. He brought on Cabango Cullen and Cooper a bit. Cullen and Cooper will find it hard to get fame time next season. Peterson and Bennett were dire signings..

Jordan Morris was extremely fast and a good signing. Sadly he likes MGW got a serious injury. He was an "American crock"
MGW was never an "English crock". ( That is not allowed)

Ok I'll bite and humour you.

Firstly Gyorkeres was never our player, financially we lost nothing. Brighton recalled him because he wasn't getting enough game time, (partly due to recurring illness from covid) and we couldn't guarantee him starts, we didn't send him back. We had Ayew and Lowe as our main strike force and that wasn't going to change as they were playing well and we were sitting 4th in the table. We could have lied to Brighton and said he would start more games, but we are an honourable club and don't lie unlike some on here. Cooper and the club did what they thought was best for the club at the time and it was proved correct as we reached the play offs. If Cooper had started Gyorkeres at that point instead of Ayew or Lowe he would have been correctly slated. What happened at the end of the season was nothing to do was the Gyorkeres situation. None of this is speculation just facts. Gyorkeres went to Coventry and they made a profit so what, we have sold many players over the years and made a profit we have also missed out, the same as all clubs. You really need to get a life and move on, Gyorkeres and the trust seem to be your obsession, it really is very boring and pointless. Stop making yourself make look more of a moron than you are. You seem to feel the word moron is acceptable so I will use it.

2020/21 - Swansea did very well in difficult circumstances.
And for that Trevor Birch and Cooper must be given some credit.

The play-off final in 2021 was disappointing but the club was not ready for a return to the Premier League and to be competitive.

Steve Cooper broke his 3 year contract and could not face the prospect of doing what Mark Robbins did and building the club up brick by brick. He scrapped into 6 th place the season before with

Woodman, vdHorn, Roberts, Gallagher Brewster Guihi Ayew Grimes Celina Surridge Dhanda and Petersen.

I put it to you scrapping in at 6th against a weak Forest team was not great.

I have upset the regulars who do not want their cage shaken.

Quite an arrogant post in my view. Swansea had a generational talent at 21 on their books with an option they did not take.

It is important.

Cooper had no long term vision at Swansea Robbins did at Coventry. This is my explanation..
