France pays out ADA of approx 6.8 euros per day to a single asylum seeker, if you don't claim asylum you get nothing.
The real problem is the number of asylum seekers and how long they are allowed to remain here. Som are here so long in the end they are just allowed to remain for no better reason than they've been here ages. Then they start bringing family in too.
It's more about an incompetent, useless government than it is about immigrants. That is our problem, whichever party we elect, they are useless.

This is about non British/EU citizens and benefits. Not just asylum seekers. We pay £49 a week to a single asylum seeker. It's basically the same.

Most getting the highest level of benefits, such as Universal credit, get it because they are EU immigrants who have a right to remain after Brexit and are in poorly paid jobs.

They're not all bogus though. The faukt lies in useless governments that underfunded the system and so created the backlog that has caused the current and historical problems. It goes baclk beyond the tories too.
