Aside from those of you who will undoubtedly reply, he's no good
is there any reason we are not looking to have Saito back??

I thought he posed a threat

Separately is it me or does it already seem that Dembele is going to be in sick bay for a lot of the season?

I am hoping it was a cunning plan by Nourry to put Marti Cifuentes on gardening leave so he could plant Saito for the last 3 months in his back garden and with all that sun and a bit of watering he is now 6ft plus.

Saito no doubt will be sell on and add ons, I'm also pretty willing to bet he makes his money back on sponsorship ops / image rights and tourist tickets. Lots of Japanese came last year. He also gives better defensive cover away from home than dembele, and I suspect Smyth might be allowed to leave with only a year left on the contract

He's a bonsai Saito.

He's been pruned back to 2 ft 9.

There was a graphic last week showing Leeds (different league I know ) new signings this summer .
9 of them all between 6’5” and 6’1”.

Physicality now almost the most important requisite .
Unless you are us

It's an important consideration if we're buying players to sell on, though.

Saito has the feel good factor and the crowd really get behind him and this one at Loftus Road, a change in the atmosphere from the fans can make a big difference.

I think he has improvements to come too and think its a good move to get him in

We have a left back so just a centre mid to add.

Saito cant see we would be paying more than £3 million up front, which for me is good business also.
