You can add brum to that, especially after their antics on Friday.

Yes because they see Wrexham as Swansea's biggest rival in this league. Swansea will struggle to sell out Middlesbrough at home. Wrexham will be a sell out. Wrexham want to be Wales no 1 with a muscular big physical in your face style. Swansea play little fellas attempting and failing to play slick fast football seen under Potter last about 7 season ago. Stick Fulton in the middle and any idea of fast and slick is out off the window. The forum divas a on here are flag waving Anglos denying Welsh are even a ethnic group. That is why when the slurs are sung they are indifferent and say "there is no issue for me my grandad was from Nottingham.". Wrexham home and away are the biggest games of the season and everyone on this forum knows it. It has an uncanny resemblance to Cardiff fans downplaying the derby games knowing they were likely to be getting a beating. Sheehan will have to get some aggression from the Swnsea pacifists from somewhere. [Post edited 10 Aug 22:07]

Wrexham may well end up being the biggest game because the media are going to build it up to be so and nothing else. If we are doing well, it could be the Baggies, Birminghal Brizzle or Leicester or even one of the other well supported sides. All depends on how we are doing but otherwise it goes back to how the media and Snoop et al big it up. We are a mobile midfielder and a goal scorer away from being a team that will challenge.

No. The majority of real fans dislike Wrexham because they are financially doped. That scene would have been repeated at championship grounds up and down the country. The Middlesbrough fans were probably doing the same. As a rough rule of thumb, real fans dislike them, Netflix fans love them. Go to some games and youโll understand.

This is all fair comment, heโs not actually wrong, heโs just seeing it from an internet fan point of view not a match going fan point of view. Itโs not just us that dislike Wrexham, itโs most fans that havenโt been gifted success. It was exactly the same when Fulham and Al Fayed did it. The media will absolutely turn it into a Welsh rivalry because it will generate interest and Iโm fully aware people like Resolven, all over the world, are where the money is, not people from Swansea or Wrexham. Thereโs never been a rivalry in the past, when both clubs were in the same division, because both have twenty or thirty teams closer to them. Calling it a derby is new fan plastic nonsense.

Back on the day I've policed Tranmere games v Chester and Wrexham No doubt at all who they see as derbies Chester believe it or not was quite nasty and Wrexham not far behind We need a Derby though and , well, they're Welsh Financial doped is a new expression for me though Wish we were

Well this is exactly it. Chester is Wrexhams derby, then theyโve got teams like Tranmere and Shrewsbury. Cardiff is ours. Donโt let a documentary aimed at Americans tell you any different.

Culturally , Etrxhsm very similar to Swansea although much smaller Former industrial powerhouse now defunct surrounded by beautiful countrysidethe road from where O live to Swansea hasn't changed in fifty years apart from by passes T Wrexham and more recent Newtown Great on a bike , pain on a car m Huge difference between NW Wales On 1966 went to Butlins in Pwllheli and took granddad as his wife had just died He'd never been out of West Ealrs as was the case with mum who didn't venture much out of Killay or the Sandfields where he mum lived My point is few south walians gp to the north and vice versa , not as bad as it was but major shopping for Coffis means Cheshire Oaks or Liverpool Plenty of Welsh heard at Cheshire oaks

The fact that few South Walians go to the North and vice versa is the reason itโs not a derby for people in Swansea or Wrexham. I can accept it is for the media. I can also accept a โPride of Walesโ bragging rights type thing. Itโs just not a derby.

If the Senedd didn't curtail road spending and provide the whole of Wales with a viable infrastructure more would travel South to North and vice versa. Nearly three and a half hours for the 130 miles Swansea to Wrexham or the four and a half hours Swansea to Llandudno 160 miles is ridiculous in this day and age. But this discussion is not for the football board, but Wrexham clearly are not a local derby for us.
