Have joined the entitled lunatics on social media, some of their comments starting a rivalry with the Swans are hilarious. Guess they never really got over Lee Trundle.

Big big gamble spending silly money early doors, a lot of fairy dust is needed at that circus if it wants to get higher.

Fail then the story becomes boring, get relegated back down then the story is dead

Plenty of teams in the Championship have burned a lot of money to make no real impact.

More to the point, have they thought about how these good players of old are going to play with each other as a team. It seems they are just buying names with no thought as to how they’ll work together. Hope they crash and burn😁

More to the point for me is intensity of the Championship and often two games a week, our older players had to be nursed through the fixtures.

So do I.

I’m still amazed how many of our fans wanted them to come up. Could anyone see Wycombe buying Lewis O’Brien and Connor Coady?

I wanted them to come y up because geographically they are our Welsh kith and kin. Wycome is a boring dull multi cultural sub urban identify free melting pot of factories and business parks .

Wrexham will be a big challenge and should get the players juices flowing for a local derby for the first time since Michael Duffand Williams somehow killed the Swansea team spirit in derbies.

I smell the apprehension and fear.

Can you smell the logic though?

I want Swansea City to finish as highly as possible. It’s plausible Wrexham could finish sixth with us in seventh. Wycombe would have been fodder. I put more stock in that than arbitrary geography.

I’d have wanted Birmingham to stay down for the same reason, but there was never any chance of that happening.

Wrexham are not our rivals and never have been. It’s not a derby - how can it be when Bristol City is easier to get to? Plus we’ve only played them 32 times! Hardly a history to be taken as a close rivalry

No need to up our game. No more a rival than any other team in the Championship. The next Wales international check how many players have come through the Swansea City books compared to Wrexham. If that was what the post was getting at.

I lost my rag with the stupid thick yank. I put him straight on Wales and the players we have supplied. In his Bio it says he’s got a Welsh background in the distant past. Yea probably some tenuous link to a relative he found when he started following the Disney FC.

Like the majority of Championship supporters I can't wait for them to fail. Purely for their arrogance and the way they have bought their success. It's been a long time since I have been cheering Southampton on.

I tried my best to be positive and to think it was nice for their loyal fans to have this success. And it is nice for them to have success after years of troubles. It will be good for them when the new stand is build to have a 4 sided proper football ground. However, the plastic morons they now have following them are horrendous.

The fact that they now have a ballot for match tickets for all the members no matter if they joined today compared to the ones who have been members for years and been through thick and thin, but didn’t have a season because they were tied up or couldn’t afford it etc. Therefore enabling the plastic Supporters from around the world to have tickets, ahead of local is pathetic. They are restricted for numbers this season, but they are supposed to be this community spirited club.

And don’t get me started on their Pumas Argentinian Third kit because they have somehow decided that there is a link between them and the settlers from Wales who went to live in Patagonia. Even though they were originally from south Wales and a few from mid Wales. They are now tapping into the Argentinian market. The Yanks are brilliant business men/women there to make money! SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!

That’s what the Yank on X was boasting about. Wrexham are now the supplier for talent for Wales because they signed 32 year English man Kieffer Moore, who happens to play for Wales. He is saying we now need to up our game on suppling Welsh Internationals? πŸ˜³πŸ˜‚

People like this give American fans a bad name. Unfortunately, Wrexham have got loads of them.

Yes, from the outside looking in, it looks great, but it’s sport, not a marketing ploy. Getting the best players available to them should be Wrexhams priority, not signing Welsh internationals.

TBH I don't care how many Welsh players are currently in our team as long as we are successful. Yes in an ideal world we would have a strong contingent of Welsh players, but it's not the be and end all. How many Welsh players did we have in our team at our best in the Premier League, two or three.

Well exactly and this pleb thinks it’s a good strategy!

He’s probably right in terms of marketing strategy, but it’s a horrible football strategy!

This type of International point scoring has no place in club football. It’s a silly argument.

It's wild what they are doing up there, apparently they are front runners to get Lewis Koumas on a season long loan from Liverpool (there are loads of clubs in for him).

Apparently Nathan Broadheads father has posted a picture of him in a Wrexham shirt (when he was a boy), as if to say we are Wrexham fans come and get him.

Trying to keep up with their signings so far this season:-
Lewis O'Brien from Premier League Forest, Cacace ex Serie A player, Conor Coady ex Premier League player, Kieffer Moore from 3rd place championship team Sheff Utd, George Thomason ex Bolton captain, Ryan Hardie ex Plymouth top goalscorer, Danny Ward International goalie signed to be a reserve ?, Josh Windass top championship attacking midfielder.
They signed Sam Smith for a record fee in January and his goals helped them get promoted, he might not get in the team now, James McClean is Wrexham captain is he going to get in their team ?

Wrexham are getting under a lot of Swans fans skin, I can see it just reading this message board.

Soton will be favourites to beat them Saturday morning but can you imagine if Wrexham go to St Mary's and win that game, Wrexham fans and the media will think Wrexham will be going to the Premier League such will be the hype.
