Go get David Brooks for a quarter of the price.

All gone very oddly quiet on his future whereabouts.....

No chance of getting Brooksie.
He's too good for Championship & I can't see Bournemouth selling or loaning him this season.

40 million is a cracking deal for Dibling and the club have done well to hold out for that

Perhaps with a better manager and better coaches Dibling may become a proven premier league player .

As someone else said I’ll go all out to get David Brooks in as I think he’ll be a much better player for us this season than Dibling would have been.

This sounds like it was getting very close according to all he media rumour sites.

According to the B B C Everton are considering walking away having had a second offer rejected.

Sports Republic made a profit of £5.7 according to their last annual accounts.

Accepting £40 million for a sulking petulant teenager with limited Premium League experience apparently isn’t good enough even though its seven times their last declared profit.

With Sports Republic in control you just can’t make it up anymore.

Poll: Where will we finish in the upcoming season?

I would imagine that Everton are not the only interested club, and we are expecting other offers.

No harm in letting Dibling and his arsehole agent sweat on things.......

So the proof is there that Sport Republic arent just here to sell off players the moment they get a good offer, perhaps they know that if Dibling stays and we get promoted then £40 million is too cheap.

Whatever they do they will get stick from the fans

Yep, and if he were to stay without us gaining promotion ?

As for getting stick it’s hardly surprising is it, given that they have relegated us from the top flight twice in three seasons ?

There can be no argument that the owners have been a disaster, In fact since Nasty Nick was in charge its been one charlatan after another. The team getting weaker year on year for a slow painful death. We have gone from on the edge of European football to at best a yo yo club. The gap is between the premiership is now a chasm that is hard to see it closing.

It will be interesting to see how much money the club pulls in over the next few weeks.I would bet that when the window shuts, over their whole tenure they will have brought in more in transfer fees than they have spent. Busting the miff that they have invested in the club. They will also have a squad that is worth significantly less than when they started.

Both spot on. It's a big season coming up. It's almost like, they have one more chance. If Saints struggle, the knives will really be out for the owners. Who knows how the season will go.

Whilst I was a fan of the Cortese approach, let’s be fair and say that things went downhill as soon as Kat sold up a % of her stake. Cortese had gone when we went on to Europe and got to that Cup Final.

Totally agree though that things have gone down the tubes since…..

Sport Republic may come good, but my view involves a saying around the organisation of nights out and breweries…..….
