Can't see one, apologies if there is. I'm going for 6-6

Very lucky still to be in this.

Could well have been 3 or 4 down.

Need changes at half time.

That half was shambolic.

The full backs do need to and shouldn’t be going on the overlap every time they play it to their winger under pressure.

Madsen is having a stinker. Letting men run off him left, right, and centre. Passing has been woeful too. Field is doing the job of two in there.

And every ball we play to Burrell is short to his chest or head. We have barely played one ball over the top or down the channel to utilise his strength.

It’s a mess.

Watford aren’t very good.

But we have been bad.

Massive improvement needed.

Come on Numpty. Madsen has been awful. Hiding behind opposition players again. Jogging back when they break on us.

Yep, agreed. A totally indifferent performance. He's not even passing the ball well. Get Varane on in his place.

Right, now we get to see what Stéphan is all about!

The past two seasons there was always a good chance that Marti would make the changes at half time to bring us back in to the game.

Kieran has given us a lifeline and now it's up to Stéphan to make the changes to make us more solid and competitive.

Come on Urrrrrs!

He is a creator not a shield. Field and or Varane do that job.

field is playing in a more advanced role on the left side of midfield.... most of his touches are higher up the field (ie beyond the halfway line)

madsen is taking his touches in our half

I'm sure a heat map will validate this

That goal came just in time in terms of the away end temperature.
A lot of booing the 10 mins before - the call for patience with the youth gone out the window 30mins in to the first away game of the season.

Really don’t understand Mbenge at LB, tends to trip over the ball a lot when bringing it out and I don’t think it is working at all with Symth in front of him. We are not stretching them wide either side and invisible across the middle.

That goal might just be the glimmer of hope that Stephan can latch on to at HT but something has to change especially our inability to have any presence or bite in midfield.

The hate and blaming totally for conceding both goals is ridiculous

Some comments on here ie the seasons gone is pathetic

Get behind your team people

We are one goal down away from home at a club that for long periods were in play off contention last season and we not got any full backs.

This forum is very poor, at times.

The defence has been shambolic, with too many square pegs in round holes.

The central midfield is non-existent and powder puff.

The wingers seldom look to use the overlap, preferring instead to cut inside and go alone.

The entire team is very slow to react to situations and often gets caught on the counter when an attack breaks down.

The only bright spark was the goal but that just papers over the cracks. This team needs a major reshuffle at half time.

Madsen is not the man to sit in the middle and connect everything. Too powderpuff and lackadaisical.

Hook him for Varane if fit.

Chair coming deep leaves a huge gap and Burrell is isolated. We need to pack the midfield, give up the width.

Go two up top.

Haven’t seen an away support as angry as this for a while.
A centre half and a midfielder in full back positions and from where I’m standing. It shows.
Still well in this. Awesome strike.

Oh well, we’ll find out what our managers made of this next half.

I’ll be honest, at this precise moment, I’m not overflowing with confidence.

It’s a cracking goal .

But we have to be stronger and better all over the pitch .
Anyone else fed up with us just getting the basics so wrong so often .
Up to the goal I was feeling slightly embarrassed.
Fed up with that feeling too.
No matter who is in charge .

We have to be better and believe we can be , but be stronger , show some desire.
Ilias needs to stop having a strop and play . I understand it but you are now one of the leaders .

Come on Rangers !!!

Lucky to go in 1 goal down. Needs to change it at half time. Mbengue to rb, Esquerdinha to lb, Morgan to centre mid (where he should be) and Madsen in a cab to Heathrow with a 1 way ticket to a country of his choice. Hopefully the manager can remind the players that they're a team as we look totally disjointed.

Never want to see Madsen in a QPR shirt ever again. Feel like it's the same growing pains we experienced with Marti last season.

One of the things Clive talked about pre-season was a new manager taking 2 months to learn the same lessons Cifuentes was forced to learn - namely that you need bodies in midfield. JS needs to learn that ASAP or else we'll be rooted to the bottom of the table with our supposed easier games burned off.

Not sure why Madsen is getting all the stick. He's been average like most of them. Its Morrison who's had a real stinker. Just watching the 2nd goal, he just lets the striker peel off of him for a free header.
I would bring on Varane and Esquederna and move Mbengue to right back Get Morgan into midfield. Maybe Madsen and Dembele off.

I’m sitting at a beach bar in Lanzarote and I’ve put more effort into this game than most of those fkn players.

Quite apart from how utterly useless every last one of them was, I don’t see any semblance of tactics out there on the pitch

Shit but local

im rly torn on mbengue and I don't want to criticise him (sounds like you're criticising management not him tbf)... was motm last week and seems like his best skill is aerial duels... obviously that's way less relevant out wide

asking a right footer to play left back is a bit of a stretch.... there was one easy pass that he mistimed and that was a clear case of a right footer shouldn't be playing a pass with that body shape from left back

Where's Steve Bold, when you want him?
I can't believe how easy it is for Watford
to get behind us.

That's how I saw it. Big fan of Morrison but he got done for that second goal. Strikes me as a fast learner so hopefully he'll bounce back. I'd rather him and Mbengue at CB. Cooks legs look gone to me.

Definitely hiding. Stands behind opposing players and doesn’t make an attempt to move into space every time Morgan has possession. Passing has been well off too. Chair having to drop deep to do his job. Losing patience with him.

Move Morgan centre mid....Smyth to RB, Esq on for Cook and Mbengue centre. Madsen off, play Kone centre forward, Burrell wide.

I don't think we have any player who can take any credit from that half. I certainly couldn't say that anyone has been better than anyone else, although If pushed I might find someone who has been worse! And that would not be Madsen (whose passing has been woeful).

The only slight poisitive (this is extremely minimal) is that Burrell has run around a lot!

I am not giving Madsen any stick as he shouldn't be out there in the first place playing in a two man midfield.

Playing as a third midfielder he might thrive but playing in a two as a tackler, blocker, getting stuck in simply isn't him.

Biggest takeaway for me is that Mbengue is not a LB. Nkatia and Sissoko having a field day.
Too many midfielders being bounced off the ball.

Who is left back? Morrison?

Left back is Mbengue. Right back is Morgan. That's part of the problem - players out of position.
