Has there been a better one? Fans seem to be getting everything they've asked for; Hayden, Saito and Kone plus Poku, Mbengue and the resigning of Jimmy Dunne. Some of these have come to QPR despite strong interest from other clubs and even higher bids if you believe what’s been said about Saito. What’s not to like?

One of our bedroom windows didnt close properly so eventually got a local glazing firm and now have to say its a great window.

Its our best one yet, although think might need to clean it occasionally....

Again, its whether the window stands the test of time and operates consistently, in the months and years ahead. Early days yet for me, but its closing nicely.....

Season before we went up with Neil. So yes.

Apologies if that answer doesn't suit the narrative.

I misread that as season we went up and almost posted accordingly. SWP, Jesus B, the bloke who was always injured and whose name I've forgotten, left winger masquerading as a lb (Traore)and Anton who was probably the best of a bad bunch.

Previous was, as already mentioned, Derry and Hill plus Jamie M and Paddy Kenny.

Truthfully, I don't really care who we're bringing in if amounts to us getting pumped 7-1

We've certainly been busy today. With Celar out, Hayden, Saito and RND coming in. I don't believe this was a reaction to Coventry, but a culmination of work that has been going on for a week or two.

On the surface, today's incomings added to what had been done previously, looks very good. The proof will be in the results to come.

Very surprised Saints have dropped Edwards to the bench but would be shocked if they sold him.

I think we may well have got a little more than the reported £6 million on the Eze deal, but still be shocked if we paid elevated dosh for Edwards.

I think he would be ideal if he was available as could cover centre mid also, and i think that would be an added reason.

If he did come in, and somehow all our injuries cleared up, who knows, but clever by the Nourry to delay all these announcements after the dreadful defeat at the weekend.

Yeah, I just looked at the spreadsheet and it’s great! This, not garlic bread, Mr Potter, is the future!

Ah, so we were 5 down at HT on Saturday and lost 7-1. (Only lost the second half by one, though!) and the rest of the league know our players aren’t fit enough to compete in a championship match until, ooh, shall we say October? So what? Get with the project! Saul Good Man.

FFS …. getting tw4tted 7-1 and talking about “everything the fans wanted” two days after.

I need a SAGA. What’s the SAGA? It’s ….. Queen’s Park Rangers.

Today's three incomings must be it for this window. I wonder how much of the Eze money has been used?

A few more outgoings should happen, particularly Richards and EDB.

On paper not a bad bit of business all round. Not sure it makes up for being so unprepared for the start of the season though or the poor planning regarding the goalkeeping situation. Kone and Hayden likely to be the most significant of the bunch I imagine.

More likely to buy Edwards than find a home for Richards, IMO

Think they still need to come clean about Chair, as unless I missed an update on his injury status, could he be on his way to another club?

A few days since his injury and you're suggesting something untoward - Why do some fans always look for the negative - Come clean indeed

Would you take a Chair for Edwards swap deal?

The Saito deal makes me more suspisous of the Chair leaving rumours, as you can imagine Noury thinking if we announce Saito first, then we might be able to apease the fans in terms of selling Chair... although the 7-1 trouncing would have maybe destroyed that idea..

I'd love to have know what today's transfers would have looked like if we had won at Plymouth with the kids and like scraped a draw or a win at cov... The transfers almost seem to be like they looked at the message board and signed the couple of players we are discussing to try and make us forget about the weekend's result.

If before Saturdays; disaster, and the season had started, you;d have said:

Dunne would have signed a new contract
Kone had signed
Saito had signed
Hayden had signed

We would all have been pretty happy with that I think. Add in Poku who people seem excited about, Burrell and Mbengue and our left back on loan, I think, ignoring all other things, it's a good window.

I am more nervous about Centre Backs than anything else, if we could get Edwards back on loan that would be amazing - I don't think we can afford him permanently but if he's not playing....stranger things have happened.

Good deal for Kelman with 1 year left, I would have kept Fox myself as cover unless someone else is coming in, Colback going is fine with Hayden coming in, Celar going out most people happy with.

I guess they should all be ready for whatever system we want to play in a few weeks and then we can see if this is reflected in results and performances.

Big few weeks coming up, I dont think the manager or anyone can say we haven't upgraded the squad. I really feel we have a striker in Kone, and he is key to our chances.

These transfers have been leaked for weeks. While I reckon they probably rushed the announcements (I doubt they were all intended to happen on one day), I also don't think these were a sudden grab bag from nowhere.

If we suddenly sign Edwards, however...

We need another CM. Hayden just seems a bit of a panic signing and won't fix the 8 problem. He'll certainly help provide leadership in that central area though, which is lacking badly.

I'd love to know, and this has been mentioned by a couple of others on this thread, why are these players deciding to join QPR when they have other offers?
It can't be wages as we don't have that sort of spending power.

Yes but they weren't also running the team like Nourry.

So I was there Saturday but despite that I think this has been a great window…. so far.

The squad is now so much stronger in depth, even the CN haters must see that, but squad depth is worth nothing if they aren’t available or match fit.

Poku, Mbengue, Saito, Kone, Hayden all in 1st 11 for me but only Mbengue match fit.

Jimmy and Jonathan obviously not quite match fit so improvement there.

Say it every year the international break might have come at the right time for us.

No coincidence all 3 and Celar going announced today. Like the sound of the left back
