It was the questions we had wrong. |

Surely you can see what we’re trying to do? Dibling and Fernandes wanted out we’ve hopefully replaced them with 3 very decent players that will be suited to our managers tactics. Remember how bad Dibling was once Rusty left?

People don’t like positive news on 16:17 - Aug 28 with 874 views | 1885_SFC | Negative people really get on my tits. Southampton defender Welington is set to miss 'months' of the season due to an ankle injury. Saints boss Will Still is braced to be without the full-back for a significant period after he was withdrawn in the first half of their 2-1 Championship defeat to Stoke City. "Wely's not great, he'll be out for a couple of months," Still said. "His ankle's not great. "If there's an opportunity to [sign cover] I'm sure we will, but that goes for every position. "Our squad is big enough and good enough to sort things out."

People don’t like positive news on 16:46 - Aug 28 with 789 views | Buggalugs | Most clubs would struggle to hold onto £40m players in the Championship, so selling TD and MF was inevitable. Re-investing isn't as straight forward as people make out, but I'm really pleased we're finally going for championship proven players as this is the most sensible thing to do to achieve promotion imo. If you think we should or could be buying Premier ready players now, you're dreaming. I think too many people have lost sight of what supporting a club is about. Moaning and sneering about everything constantly is a cop out as is writing off players who are new to the league after 1 appearance.. Get behind them and try being positive for a change ffs.

What is supporting a team all about? Having your pants pulled down and the pi ss taken out of you?

People don’t like positive news on 17:08 - Aug 28 with 736 views | Ifonly | It's obviously ridiculous to say that people don't like positive news. Everyone loves positive news, but people have different views on what's positive. Is selling Dibling and Fernandes positive news? To me, it depends on what's done with the money. Replacing them with Fellows and Azaz is ok if that happens. They are good championship players. They aren't as good as Dibling and Fernandes - that's why we can buy Fellows and Azaz and have to sell Dibling and Fernandes to PL sides. But it can be good news if we use the rest of the money well. At the moment we don't know how much of the money will be used to buy players, or who those players are. So, to me, it seems a bit early to start wetting ourselves or doing cartwheels. Let's see where we are when the window closes.

Judging by a hefty percentage of the threads on here, it's about moaning like a little bitch and criticising absolutely everything. Must be enjoyable.

Agreed. The reason it's gone quiet is because the deals are not done yet, we all know that these transfer windows are chaotic & anything can happen. Even Will Still admitted that he doesn't know exactly what's going to happen or what his team will be post transfer window. There's no point getting too excited until the window closes.

People don’t like positive news on 09:22 - Aug 29 with 305 views | jopreston | Well, I for one will be ecstatic if we get all four of the names mentioned. Or have we already? Experienced championship players with good proven track records, in positions where we are weak = excellent business. The other two from the BL look very good also. I wonder if we will get in one or two more? More importantly will we see some of the dead wood off the books.
